You get what you pay for. I'm paying less than some apartments and more than others. This is a moderate level apartment with moderate pricing. Things break down. Maintenance doesn't do too bad getting things fixed. New management came in January. They are definitely an improvement from the previous managers. More cordial and respectful to renters. If you're looking for an affordable place to live, and willing to live with older buildings that do need upkeep, this will do. Looking for super cheap or immense luxury? Look elsewhere. BTW location is a plus. Near shopping, park, library, and highways. Relatively safe area. I have kids and don't worry too much about them. Two pools, but no playground on site.
A honest review! 1 Bed room 1 Bath Apartment: 870 Dollars + Utilities = 920.00 A month Electric is about 70-90 Dollars a month _____________________________________________________________________ Pros: - Washer and Dryer hook up - Only Apartment around that had a Opening to move in Cons: - Rent is Ridiculous not even reasonable for size, looks and foundation i believe they should rent out their 1 bed rooms for 550 a month or 600 Max - Spider issue - Apartment wasn't painted when moved in, They painted over dirty spots - Parking sticker required and Towing
I am appalled how horrible the maintenance crew is, we moved in June and they said we couldn't use our oven, it took TWO WEEKS for someone to come out and "FIX" our oven, WHEN HAD WAITED A MONTH TO MOVE IN. Then in December there was in issue with our plumbing, the ignorant and rude young receptionist said that it wouldn't be fixed until that next Monday(Mind you the office was closed for about two days, and the plumbing issue occurred the night before Christmas Eve, so it was super gross, and didn't make sense for our plumbing to back up, when we know not to put food down the drain, because there are no blades in the garbage disposal). So Monday rolls by, nothing; Tuesday, nothing; Wednesday I went to Wal-mart and bought unclogging solution and did it myself, THEN ON THE 15TH I get an email saying that THEY COMPLETED THE WORK ORDER, Why wait so long to not come by, THEN LIE that you completed the order ? This place is terrible, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT MOVE HERE. I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE, BECAUSE THIS PLACE IS TOO EXPENSIVE FOR THE LOW QUALITY OF CARE THEY PUT INTO IT.
So my husband and I moved in late October. We have lived here about two and a half months. When we signed the lease and paid our fees I was told we were all set but the day I came to pick up my keys they had lost my payments which was really alarming. Must've been due to poor communication amongst the staff. Thankfully the lady found my money orders and gave me the keys. Anyways we pay 30 dollars a month for valet trash and to this day we have not received our trash bin even after complaining to the staff and having work orders submitted. The kitchen drawers get stuck and don't stay on the tracks which is really annoying. I believe there's poor insulation because it is always freezing in our apartment. Our water heater runs poorly so we have to take quick showers so the water doesn't turn cold on us. I haven't seen too many bugs but water nats keep coming back so I keep having to poor bleach down the drains in the bathroom. Ever since we moved in I've always smelled a poor odor coming from the kitchen/washer and dryer room and I recently concluded it was due to garbage disposal. Our garage disposal has been leaking for at least two weeks now. I contacted the office ten days ago and I was told someone would be out to look at it that Saturday. No one ever showed up so I submitted a work order form monday( the office is closed Sunday) in hopes that would help us to get some help faster. No one ever contacted me so I called again Wednesday and finally a maintainence guy came and said he would have to order a small part but would be back Saturday morning to fix it. So today is Tuesday and it still hasn't been fixed. Our kitchen smells like rotting potatoes and we can't use the left side of our sink or our dishwasher. Very frustrating. Don't think we will be resigning our lease.
the staff is rude when they don't want to work. they do not care about the residents, they only want your money. they claim to have renovated apartments, yet we have had our fridge go out, our ac wasn't working, and the carpet was not laid correctly. you will find little black beatles laying around your apartment, even though there is "pest control". DO NOT rent from Landmark at spring creek....Don't be fooled by the 5 star ratings. Lynn Wilson works for this place; of course she gives it 5 stars. these people will tell you what you want to hear in order to take your money. There constant plumbing issues that never get properly fixed. Take it from first hand experience; management is awful and deceitful here!
