Being looking for a fear rate apartment in the are and I found it. Rent is great, a full renovated apartment with new appliances. I love it. Office staff really helpful and kind. Love it, great pool and my favorite place, couple grill's. 👍👍👍 And the fire place in the unit, warm romantic touch
My stay here started off on the right foot, in the right direction. I am currently residing in a 3 bedroom, 2 full bath apartment on the second floor. When I first moved in I noticed the Master baths tub was literally about to fall through. The counters were hideous, and the cabinets are so old and not properly installed. But at the time I had no choice and financially no other options but to live there for the year agreement. I paid rent and water faithfully. The master bath was "repaired" (not replaced) and they sprayed the counters down with some cheap cover plaster stuff. All in all the stay there was fine, until summer hit! My electricity bill was nearly $400 every month for the months of summer. The temp in the apartment NEVER gets under 75 degrees, the windows are cheap and thin, (so cheap that something fell out of a tree by my infants window and it shattered the whole plate luckily she wasn't in there when the incident happened) and the foundation is shifting so much that in one part of my living room I feel like I might fall through the floor! My boyfriend used to lay insulation for homes at his previous job and insisted that the insulation is probably not up to par and thats why it stays so hot in there. He is going to check the levels in the crawl space and if it isn't up to par we are going to contact the city and make them fix it. Other than all of this, our water heater was leaking so bad at one point that when the maintence guy came through he was sincerely shocked that it hadn't fallen through the floor! I am not in close contact with my neighbors below but they have had to experience this leakage aswell with the way it was flooding my pantry. The dishwasher needs badly to be replaced. I sent in a request for it to be replaced but the stated that they "fixed" it instead, it still doesn't run properly. All in all I cannot wait to get out of the apartments. Not to mention the changes they always make at the office and expect you to keep up with, without any notice. They took away the drop box night deposit option as well. Now I work a full time sales position that sometimes requires my attendance until 9pm at night, I am also a full time mom. The office hours are always changing. can't pay my bills any other time than to DRIVE on my lunch and hand them a check. Because I refuse to pay $20 online to make my payment. The internet is supposed to make our lives convienient not rip us off. With all this being said, Im currently now being charged for a riduculous "late fee". I don't understand the office there. I will be contacting the property owner/manager or the National Renters Association.
I moved out when I was 19 and I am now 36. I have never lived in a worse place then this one. They showed me the model only when I moved in and it seemed nice enough for the money. Once I moved in I had a rude awakining. The apartments are really old. Have water damage all through out, broken boards , scratched up mirrors, corroded dishwashers. The water heater was so old it went out and the guy who replaced it said it was so mad it could have exploded. THere where roaches which I had to fight to get fumigated. THe walls were not done right you could see the wholes everywhere is some cases the wholes from door knobs going through it. Base boards and door boards broken and chewed up by pets. Wholes under the sinks in both bathrooms so big you could see through the wall outside which is where all the roaches where coming in from. I am stuck in a one year lease which I pray everyday I can make it because believe me I have thought about ruining my credit and that says allot. My neighbors upstairs are horrible, they have three children who run jump and dive whenever they want and dont care about the people below. This was been the worse experience. I had to put so much money myself to make it livable since I'm stuck there. I would run for the hills and I wish I would have looked up the reviews before I moved in. They also charge you for everything. 15 dollars just to pay your rent online. 20 to have your trashed picked up. I cannot wait to get out of here. I hope I can help someone out before they make the worse mistake. DO NOT LIVE HERE. oh by the way someone was shot and killed here. found out after I had moved in and they never said anything.
Every maintenance problem reported, they say they will get it fixed. But when the stupid maintenance guy comes to "fix" the issue, he really doesn't fix crap. Been a loyal customer for almost 4 years now, my a/c blew out hot air they said they could do nothing about it. Like WTF so I had to pull out my money and buy two window a/c to survive. Oh by the way... I pay 250+ on my electricity on a one bedroom apartment.... seriously think something is wrong here. Horrible place to call home. This apartment complex has gotten worst every year.. Recently, there was a murder like around the corner of my place.. probably involved in drugs who knows. My advice not to even sign any contract with this &#%%*-++;'$') place!!!
I received a note on my door tonight claiming that a "crime" had been committed on our property. This was a murder. It seems that suddenly Mission Spring Creek has turned into a Section 8 property - the management is less than helpful, and this has simply become a dangerous place to call home. I've lived at this complex for a long time; we used to have great neighbors, get togethers outside for smoothies - now, I hear loud rap music, and trust no one. My ceiling had a water leak - this was repaired quickly, but left a hole in the ceiling as the sheetrock had fallen down - the management refused to fix it. The last issue is the increase of rent - my rent was increased by $50.00 per month with the management claiming that rent in our area was over $600.00 per month. In a drive around, I found that most other communities are gated, which we are not - granted, this does not stop crime, but would certainly be a deterrent. It's time to find another place to live - Regards to all.
