The staff in the leasing office are consummate professionals, but don't just make you feel they care- they genuinely care. Coming out of a very turbulent personal situation, the entire staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. They went far above and beyond to help in every facet of getting a home, and the location is not only gorgeous (a former orchard, very Newtonian)- but the amenities and housing are beautiful, luxuriously spacious, and cozy. Parking is abundant. The community is diverse as all getout, and wonderful. It's like a microcosm village of the greater Boston area. Unparalleled in its friendliness, safety, and cost efficiency. You really aren't gonna find the kind of rates this place offers, for everything those rates include, anywhere else. Having just separated at the conclusion of military service, and traveled some 600 miles to continue life in the great state of Massachusetts- I was just looking for a place to get back on my feet. But now I'm happy to call this wonderful little village home, and am looking forward to moving my entire family to here when they're able in the following year. I know I'm going to forget, and possibly misspell some names here- but my thanks goes out to Ms. Maureen Cronin, Ms. Fedora Barlatier, and Mr. Samuel West. These individuals, and absolutely everyone on the staff exude courtesy, expertise and professionalism. But they do so while making you feel like family in the most natural, welcoming manner I've ever experienced. And did I mention the complex also receives Verizon FiOs service? I don't understand negative reviews at all. The people are friendly, the community's gated (albeit unnecessarily, wonderful area- lots of school children and friendly neighbors)- and the definition of New England Cozy. And the Vistas from almost anywhere on the premises are breathtaking! Also, for any fellow stargazers- the night sky in this quaint, hilly orchard is be-au-tiful! If you're looking for a place to hang your hat in the burbs of Boston, look no further! I cannot recommend this apartment complex highly enough!
So far so good. I haven't faced issue so far in the community. The community is well situated and have all the good community features. I hope with recent change in the management the community is doing good and I also hope people complain about the move out charge would be no more existing in future.
Service requests raised so far have been resolved in time without any issues and I think the recent change in management team has brought a lots of positive things, and I am sure this will keep the customers coming. And I agree the rents have become little exorbitant these days, and I suggest them to review it with the market and age of the property given the circumstances.
Worst experience ever I had. they charge you for every small thing even its preexisting issue, its very difficult notice those things for anyone. never make a mistake i did, the problem was there were not many reviews that time. I am writing this to help others. They talk nicely when coming in, charge you heavily when you leave. worst management.
Much like many other former tenants before us, we too were unfairly charged for move-out damages that were either too minuscule to notice upon move-in or just plain false. We were charged $850.00. The photographic "evidence" they took is not nearly substantial enough to justify the charges (pictures of the old counter tops that supposedly had scratches on it the eye can't see on the photograph). We were also charged for stains on a carpet which we had proof of noticing through emails exchanged early during move-in. We were told the damage would be documented and adding to our files. They never were, and we were charged for the carpet stains anyway. What Royal Crest and their parent, Aimco, are doing is nothing short of illegal. These units are extremely old and extremely dirty. We left the place cleaner than how we found it, and are now paying the price of remodeling the unit for them.
