Maintenance is HORRIBLE!!!!!!! I've been waiting for a new kitchen floor for over 10 months. Every time I call they would say I'll call you back never called back. The girls in the office have attitudes and basically advise you to keep calling until maintenance comes. Now they are saying I have over $400 in late. I've signed at 2 six month leases and no one ever stated I had any fees. According to my records I have never been late. One year in the winter my ceiling collapsed because a pipe burst. It took them weeks to fix it and I had to call over and over again to get that done. I'm moving after this 6 month lease b/c now the rent has increased again and for that money you can have a place a lot nicer.
Bedbugs. Mass infestation of bed bugs.Black mold. Soot poisoning. Management controls ur heat. Ahhhh, and last but never least bedbugs. (They use store bought bed bug bombs.) Monica is a GREAT slumlord manager. Rent for 2 bd is over $700. If u like bedbugs and want some bronchitis, come live here.
I wouldn't recommend this hell hole to anyone they don't fix things they apartments flood.. management is a joke.. dawn is lazy and very rude she comes off as a nice person until you sign your lease after that she no longer cares about anything but your rent.. I lived there two years with a broken window nobody ever fixed that was ordered about 20 times when I left it still wasn't fixed... their air conditioning is horrible you might as well have box fans oh did I mention the mold.. they need to condemn those apartment they need to be updated and it's a whole building that's uninhabitable with broken windows dead squirrels and horrible lighting... stay away from peachtree...
Please beware when I first moved here July of 2014 I was happy it was quiet and well taking care of well my building was but not my son's but I believe someone from the office resided in my building. The management changed and it was down hill from there my rent kept going up and the services got worst and worst. I had a basement apartment that kept flooding, you cant control your own heat so they burn you up in the winter I had to sleep with my windows open. If it got warm in the spring before the time came to turn off the heat you are in trouble a few times we had to stay with others because of the heat. You are not safe I have been robbed and the vehicles are broken into every night. In the parking lot are several condoms why??? There is nowhere for children to play and plenty barking dogs which they claim or grandfathered in but that's not true. You can not Barbq on the property but it goes on at night. The upside is a washer and dryer in your apartment and thats it! Please do not move here
Just as when you buy anything, you have to consider you get what you pay for. The apartments are cheap, the cheapest I've seen. Now, while they may not be the classiest place to live, they are pretty decent. The washer and dryer is wonderful to have, and since hot water is free its not too expensive, saved me from paying $4 a load at my previous apartments. I have ran into some maintenance issues, but I feel that just comes with renting. While they show you a really pretty apartment, they warn you yours will look different. However, I wasn't disappointed. There is tons of closet space and the balcony is nice to have. The only thing that I absolutely cannot stand is the water! It will randomly go from freezing cold to scorching hot while in the shower without any notice. Yesterday I spent 35 min showering and only about 10 of those minutes actually showering. The rest was spent waiting for the water to stop going hot and cold so drastically. The first time it happened I jumped out screaming because it literally burned me. I have a small child though and this scares me for her sake. Baths only for her! Can't risk it with the water, Also my sink leaks and they "fixed" it, but its leaking bad again. However though, everyone's been happier since we moved here. The place is roomy, the windows are huge and bright, and it has a lot of potential. For the price, I'd say its worth it.
