My Bad and unprofessional Experience is that I had come in to inquire about Rental and Availability. I was told by the Property Manager, and Leasing Rep there were two people available after standing for over 10 minutes waiting for someone to complete their conversation. I stepped outside because of the person who is talking to respect there privacy and she was discussing vandalism to her vehicle. I am unsure it it occured on the premises or somewhere else. Finally, The woman spoke and said that she is finished. Again, The property manager, or leasing officer still did not acknowledge me. I was inquiring about a "One or Three Bedroom" I was told that they did not have any available until next year. "I asked" When in January, February, they both were talking at the same time and could not give me a definite answer. Finally, A Caucasion Lady with her Daughter walks in and while I was talking they totally stop conversating with me and acknowledged her and her daughter. The lady ask "Do you have any three Bedrooms available?" Property manager "How soon are you looking to move" The lady responded "ASAP". she took her outside to speak with her and I can almost read her lips. They all came back in and the Daughter stared at me constantly The property manager took the lady and her Daughter in her office and sat her down, she gave her Applications, and all the information, Literature, in regards to what she needs and told her to fill it out and bring it tomorrow. The property manager asked, "How soon will you have the Deposit" The lady responded, "Tomorrow." First of all, You are holding an Apartment, and have put this Lady on a Waiting list without an deposit. You told this Lady that she will havethis apartment. You did not screen her, "Like others." Come on. "I was There" to see all of this. However, I am standing there and I was not giving an application, or Information, I was standing and not sitting down, or welcomed as a "Potential, and Future Resident." I made it known to the Property Manager, and Leasing Officer as to why as an "Africian American that you did not treat me the same as the Caucasion Lady. They were furious with no answer, they were unprofessional, Fast Talking, and decided that they will tell me, "That they have nothing available" when I inquired, and was on the premises before the Caucasion Lady and her Daughter drove up. They came not even 10 minutes after me. And to take them outside and speak with me. I am not "Iliterate." You did this Racial Act in front of my face. All this proves in the real world as to who you are, that racism is still alive today. Especially when applying for a place to live. "You are Judged" I exprienced this "First Hand." In my face. "This is awful." "My Civil Rights were Violated." You gave this apartment to the Caucasion Lady instead of me. Therefore, I agree with the post that Ms. Wright has written. They are unprofessional, and choose who they want to rent to. There are Laws to protect Citizens from Discrimination and racism. The way I was treated was totally unfair as an "Africian American." This is a Clear cut situation and matter that needs immediate attention. ASAP!!!! I was refused the right to receive information, or at least have the opportunity to apply like the Caucasion Lady. As of today, I do not have the owner's information as requested. They refused to give it to me. At this point, It is useless. They have Laws, and Organizations out here to protect citizens from "Racial Profiling."
Horrible management, they never fix anything very inconsiderate and they will ignore all your phone messages. They're only concern is your rent money!! They even shut the water off without any notice and it was off until next day. Could not cook bathe the kids or myself, such inconsiderate people! If I could turn back time I wouldn't dare rent from them..
Enclave is by far the worst place ever. As i'm writing this the water is off. No notice was giving. This is the third time this complex went without water. Yesterday an apartment caught on fire due to bad wiring. Electric bills are expensive! Moving as soon as my lease is up.
Service sucks. Takes a few months to get anything fixed. Trouble with neighbors.
