I have lived here for about a year now and i can honestly say this place is worth every penny. The area is very quiet, i always feel safe no matter what time of day it is. The office ladies are fabulous and the Manager Tom has always been kind during our encounters. They do fun events, they always email us with updates and to remind us our rent is due. If you are interested in renting go see Stephanie or Audra in the front office and i promise you will have a positive experience. It's hard to find an apartment complex you can call home but it's just that cozy here! P.S- to all German Shepherd lovers they are welcome here!!
You cant go wrong with Camden!!! Grand Harbor is a great place to live!! The grounds are beautiful with a big gazebo area we have had several family get together and barbecued on the very nice grills they have here. We also have an amazing pool and work out room with nice equipment and free weights. I am a single mom and never lived in a place I felt safe letting my kids play outside but they have made some great friends in the area we live and I feel safe letting them play and ride their scooters and bikes, plus this is a gated community and we have a very nice courtesy officer. I have lived in 2 different apartments at this community and at both places I had wonderful neighbors, we all look out for each other. Camden has a 24/7 contact center so if I ever have a maintenance emergency or need the courtesy officer day or night I can always talk to a live person even when the office is closed and get immediate help. This is a family friendly community and the staff here really do enforce it. They are always having outstanding events for the residents and really do take good care of us. The maintenance team are quick to take care of any issues I have had and they are all very friendly and genuinely care about getting the job done to our satisfaction!!! Honestly I have nothing negative to say about Camden Grand Harbor
Finding an apartment is very hard. I use to live at the Camden Landmark in California and the experience living there was horrible. The staff never cared about anyone and the phone were impossible to get through to anyone. I was just over the place. When my husband told me that we are going to relocate to Texas my first thought was don't live in no other Camden Properties. it was easy for us just transfer our lease to another Camden Property. I gave it a chance and transferred here to Camden Grand Harbor. When I first called them to talk about transferring they picked up the phone and was so welcoming. They went ahead and helped me out with everything. It was hard enough living in California not knowing what the place looked like, but the ladies in the front were so helpful and told me what my apartment would look like and how the neighborhood is over there. I trusted them and went ahead and reserved the apartment. Me and my husband have been here for about a month now and I can't say nothing bad about the place. It is a gated community, very quite, plenty of parking, garages and carports if you need them. Valet trash that picks up Sun - Thursday. Everyone is just so friendly and the staff here are great they help out if you need them even the maintenance guys are awesome. We have signed a 15 month lease and so far everything has met our expectations. Our two puppies even love the place so much when we take them outside to the bathroom they run around in the grass having a blast. They even have resident appreciation days where they people who work here come out hand you donuts, apples, water and orange juice and say," thank you for being a great resident." You don't see that anywhere and they also have different events for you can meet your neighbors and get to them. Honestly, this place is great and I give this Camden Property 5 stars across the board. I would recommend this place to anyone. Keep up the great work ladies :)
I lived here a year ago and ended up breaking my lease it was so bad. I had 4 teenage boys living alone on one side of me who would blare music/television at all hours of the night, and on the other side of me I had a couple who would have regular, violent domestic disputes. Audra in the office is completely incompetent. No one would help me until the new manager, Tom Reed, came on - but by then it was too late and I was already in the process of terminating my lease. I moved to a different Camden property and have been just as dissatisfied with the management. Even after I moved, however, the problems from Grand Harbor didn't end. I was left with a $300 charge on my account that was labeled "water bill" for a time period I had already paid for. I emailed and called the office several times explaining as such, sent billing payment proof and spreadsheets clearly explaining the discrepancy, all to no avail. They kept saying that it was still due and that they spoke to the county and I was not being double-charged. This went on for 7 months after I moved out until finally I called one day and the district manager happened to be in the office. I spoke to her and she figured out that someone had changed the billing description from "prorated rent" to "water bill." All this time spent going back and forth and it was for something I would have paid immediately if I had been accurately told what it was for (also, this obviously shows they were lying about contacting the county. If they actually had, they would have figured this out long ago). I will never rent from a Camden property again, and I suggest anyone looking to save some time and money and look elsewhere.
I was a resident when it was Verde Grand Harbor, now known as Camden Grand Harbor. One, I am writing this review in hopes that it goes to the Corporate Office. When it was under the Management of Verde, it was like living in a small home like community. The residents had been there for sometime and I was welcomed with smiles and loving arms. We all got along and we each had each other's back, ie when someone went out of town, we watched their apartment or took care of their pets, or visited them in the hospital. Whatever our neighbor needed, we all were there. The Front Office Personnel from Nicole, Heather and Johnathan - was outstanding...in professionalism. The Maintenance was also hard working individuals, polite, punctual and professional too. I read some of the reviews and being a Native Houstonian, bugs are everywhere. The pool situation was a problem needing much attention and a solution is needed. Now the change - Corporate (business) bought them out. From a friendly, home like setting, it is more of a business and businesses are there to make money only. From the time I left and more people moving out, they are trying to beautify the outside, covering up the old paint with new, flowers and keeping up the grounds but little do they know what matters is in the inside which are the people. Sometimes Corporate office should take the time from hitting the calculator button to hearing from the people there. Its common sense, listen and make the necessary changes. Then the inside will beautify the outside. Most long term residents have left. Nicole, Heather and Johnathan have left - they made a difference. If the Camden's want to keep the longevity of residents, then they need to start listening to past residents. As Katy builds up and new apartments are popping up, I hope to not see the Camden's as a ghost time. Nicole, Heather and Johnathan - we will miss you - you all did a fantastic job.
