Been living here for almost 3 years and never had a problem until very recently. We left our apartment for the day and came back and our laptop and $50 worth of change was missing out of our apartment. Our door was locked before and after coming home meaning someone who works at the apartment complex broke into our home. We confronted Moses the new maintanence guy who was there at the time and he refused to give us his managers number. Turns out no maintanence was supposed to be there that day. We went to the front office and they said they would give us a call and never did. I also called the front office and no one re turned my calls. HORRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE!!!!!!!
The condition of the apartment that I am currently in is low quality. Rent for my 2 bed 1 bath is $850 a month, which isn't bad except the carpet is gross, the appliances are outdated and the cost of doing laundry is $2.00 to wash and $1.75 to dry. The management is constantly posting notices on the building entrance door that are clearly knee-jerk reactions to minor issues that effect the entire complex. Issues like parking, which they have an extremely unrealistic policy and threaten to tow people constantly. The property manager is a condescending woman who doesn't have interest in making each tenant's stay with Scotland Green a stay that encourages tenants to renew their lease. I certainly won't be doing so. I've been here for 9 months and my time has gotten less enjoyable and their "rules" have become more and more strict. Lastly, tenants that have been in these apartments for a number of years are constantly complaining to the office about things which results in pointless policies that restrict the freedoms of other tenants. I WOULD NOT recommend this complex. Your hard earned money, your time and your family will be best spent elsewhere.
