the only reason I give this place 2 stars is the location! The staff is rude, you wont realize it until your signing your lease so take note because that's just the beginning I was lured in because of the location and size of the apartment. THEN I started hearing ALL of my neighbores, and they were hearing me even when I really trying to be quite. in 18 months I personaly saw two good neighbors bet EVICTED because those that lived below them kept complaining about the noise level. Let me tell you if you do move here, get a bottom level. you will have to bear lots of noise of those who live above you but that's better than getting evicted because of your neighbor below you submitting reaptedly written complaints about you. Another thing!!! this place says the rent is only (when I signed my two bedroom early 2013) the water bill and olnly the water bill would be added. well rent "was" 1235, and my bill??? and has been for the past 5-6 months! over $1400, to be exact my last was a bit lower at $1408. cant wait to put this nightmare of this place to the back of my mind never to be recalled in yhe futre ever again!!!!!
Pros: - pet friendly, great walkways and lawns for walking dogs - quiet in top-right section of Summit - great parking, tons of space, well-plowed in winter - no-nonsense service AFTER move-out (big plus) Cons: - maintenance a bit poor in places, ex. renovating laundry room with washers OPEN so dust and debris end up inside, leaving old cabinets/appliances at renovated apartment in back yard for over 3 MONTHS - poor lighting of driveway/parking to top area at Summit, near stop-sign that everyone runs through if they live on the left As I said above, they are very pet friendly. It also means a lot that we had a hassle free move out. Within 3 weeks we received a letter itemizing our final charges (all utilities) and the remaining balance from our security deposit. During such a stressful time as moving into our first home, their staff was great in handling our move-out with no unwelcome surprises. Some areas can get noisy at Summit (top-left) but where we stayed we could not have had better neighbors (top-right). The grounds are kept in OK condition.. the driveway is beautiful but there is not as much care given to cleaning up after renovations. Using the laundry room was such a great motivator for us to move out and buy a house. Neighbors were clean but why would they renovate and leave the washers open so drywall/dust would coat the inside? Also our laundry room door was always propped open so mosquitoes and bugs would enter during a rainy summer night... oh boy. Also why would they leave appliances, cabinets, and trash outside the back door of an apartment they gutted, for over three months? 2/5 maintenance 5/5 parking 3/5 value 4/5 amenities and room layout 5/5 office staff 5/5 overall
