So me and my wife has lived at landmark at Prescott woods for over 3 years now and ever since they switched property management it has gone downhill. Our water bill has doubled in just the past year and the office is no help in invesigating. I've been trying to receive just 1 call back about this for over 2 months now and still waiting after messages about every week. I go up to the office today to ask why I haven't been contacted and they just give the run around and say that will contact me monday, 3 days later, that the manager is out. I then talked to the property manager anna, the one I asked to call me multiple times and is in the next room, and she said, "yes, I probably got your message and flagged them but just deleted them, it gets busy." This is coming from the PROPERTY MANAGER!!!! Needless to say we were waiting on a call back before the first of the year to make a decision on if we were staying and we have decided to go with the 6 month and move out in June. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The apartments are nice but the staff not so much since the change. They don't care about there residents and that's a shame. Please hire new people who actually care about the people paying to make this place there home. Complaint it lack of communication.
Terrible place to live. Fees on top of fees and the services that these fees cover never come through half of the time. When I moved out on Aug 4th they said they would have to replace the carpet in the living room and would let me know how much it would cost if the deposit would not cover the whole thing. Well I was supposed to hear from them the following day and got nothing. So then I called about 6 times every time I got sent to the call center and they said they would send an urgent email to contact me back, which of course never received a single call from them. Then all of the sudden I get an email on Aug 24th saying I owe an additional $175 for the carpet and that if i don't pay by next week they were going to send me to collections. Absolute worst place to live. I even had a neighbor who's ceiling fan stopped working and they told her that it wasn't in their budget to fix it. WTF the landlords main job is to up keep the maintenance on the dwelling areas. When another neighbors ceiling drywall caved in because of a leak from the roof after the heavy rain on memorial day they didn't fix it for 2 weeks. Then after they did fix it they left all the debris from the repair on the kitchen floor, counters, and sink with out cleaning any of it up and also cleaned their tools off in the tub and left all the trash and other debris from the tools in the tub. There's no problem with making a mess while fixing the stuff but at least clean up after your finished. Apparently this is relatively new management at this place because I had another neighbor that lived there for like 8 years and had recently left because of how bad this place is ran now. Overpriced and absolute worst management I've ever seen at any establishment. Avoid this place like the black plague. Plenty of other places available that are better then here. If I could give this place zero stars I would.
Exceptionally high electric bills, very high water bills. They require you to pay for valet trash but never seem to pick it up. Have had no luck with maintenance fixing issues, even after 3 attempts so we gave up. My girlfriend is allergic to wasps and bees, there is a wasp nest that's too high for us to spray so we told the office. Even after, no exaggeration, 7 attempts (drawing a picture of location, showing office staff physically the location, work order after work order) the wasp nest is still there, buzzing away. I've never written a review for an apartment before because most things I can understand/accept with apartment living, but if I save one person from moving here then I've done my good deed. Had I read reviews on this complex I would have never moved here. Unfortunately it's the cheapest complex in the area without living in the ghetto... So, choose wisely.
One of the cheaper apartment complexes in the area. However, you get what you pay for. The renovations they've made are nice, but the appliances here are a joke. They are all ancient and need to be upgraded bad. The location is nice, and that's the main reason for living here. The pool is nice, but the gym is tiny. Like I said, you get what you pay for.
My dad, who is a disabled vet, has lived here for years. He was charged $700 to treat bedbugs, which are apparently a repeated issue in this complex and no tenants' fault at all. We are hoping to get him moved out soon. If you are looking here, look elsewhere.
