Stay away, bed bug infestation (even if you try to move in, get your unit well inspected by a professional), molds, filthy neighborhood (pet crap everywhere), low ceilings - my 6 feet tall friend hit his head with the ceiling fan once), very expensive compared to what you end up getting.. other nearby apartments are much better and worth the money... I wish I could post a zero star to this community. Please don't waste your hard-earned money over these greedy and rude management, lot of maintenance work noise on daily basis, in just 5 months we decided to quit and moved out..!!
I have lived in this complex for about 7 years now and its sad to see so many negative reviews on here. This complex has been nothing but great! They do more for their tenants than any place I have ever lived. From Christmas parties with Santa to huge summer pool parties, monthly raffles, and referral initiatives. Yes, rent is high, but rent is high EVERYWHERE. There is not once complex nearby that would have insanely different rates. We pay to love in this amazing Tanasbourne area. The complex has recently done some huge updates and its great to see. I don't see how one can complain about the cost. If its broke they fix it, we have weekly landscaping, a 24 hour gym, a beautiful club house, a new dog park, an amazing playground for the kids and now a pool that makes you feel like your at a resort! Add all those things up and really its not all that bad! The Management Team is great as well as the Maint. Crew! Remember, there are people above this Management Team... They don't make the rules, they just enforce them. Its their job!
Find a better apartment, There are many dislikes about this apartment 1. Apartment is old and very much pricy for the range. 2. The Rental Office staff very totally rude people and pls dont expect a customer service from them, there is one guy he is nice , rest 3 ladies including their managers(the most Rude person you ever see) you will know only when moving out. 3. They charged us for normal wear and tear in the aparment after moving out. Eg. Do you cook, then you have to pay 80 $ for replacing cook top. Do you use bathroom, then you hav to pay for your washbasin getting wear and tear. Do you use fan? make sure paints dont fade, else you hav to pay. Apart from that we paid carpet, door etc etc. I am not usually person to write reviews, but the rental office people will make you write in such way others can stay away of this community.
Where to start? We lived here for 5 months. Broke our lease early so we could just be out of there. We were on the ground floor and you could hear everything from the apartment directly above us, everything, even a phone conversation. The rent is too expensive for what you get, way too expensive, and there are apartment complexes everywhere on this side of Hillsboro. Valet trash, what a joke!! You pay $14.50 a month for one trash can, where they pick up your trash right outside your door. Problem is that they only pick up 5 days a week, so if the bag fills up on a Friday or Saturday then too bad. There are specific instructions for EVERYTHING related to your trash....recycling can only go in certain types of bags, trash can only be set outside during a certain time limit, and heaven forbid you leave your can outside for too long after trash is picked up...then you get an email reminder of how your trash can needs to come back inside. Oh, and speaking of emails, the complex was sent and email about a tenant having "too noisy" of a car, and there were complaints. So if you can't afford a BMW and happen to have a bad muffler until your next paycheck, you better watch out, the persnickety office staff will complain about you to the whole complex. Tenants don't pick up their dogs poop, so watch for poop bombs while you walk through the grass, which turns into a complete mud pit when it rains. I recommend buying rubber boots and listening to the squish, squish as you walk through the mud. If you have kids the playground becomes a pond during the rainy season. Trash lies around in the grass and on the sidewalks. If you get an icy day during the winter they will hardly throw any salt/sand/gravel down, so watch your step. We had to help a lady up who fell in the parking lot, when I told the office that they should do something more for our safety I got a canned reply back of "we do everything possible to ensure our tenants safety", and I was told they were sending maintenance crews out to salt that very minute. Yeah, my boyfriend called me to tell me that he walked around and saw no one out salting. And the process of moving out, oh just you wait for that experience. You get a nice long list of everything they will charge you for if your apartment isn't sparkling clean upon move out. Maintenance will show up with a camera in hand and start snapping pictures of everything they think is still wrong or unclean. They will even run their fingers along your blinds for dust, yeah, like the movies you see of kids in military or boarding school. They even took photos of the scratches on the inside of the cupboards, you know, the ones that your dishes inadvertently leave behind from just using the darn cupboards. It was ridiculous. My advice, avoid this place like the plague. Like I said, there are numerous apartment complexes within the same vicinity of this one...go there instead!!
I have lived here 3 months and have had nothing but problems. You can't use the microwave with anothing else or your breaker shuts off, appliances are out of date, and you can hardly cook on the stove without the smoke detectors going off. Lights are not hooked up to the light switches. Over all you get less then what you pay for.
