Where to start? We lived here for 5 months. Broke our lease early so we could just be out of there. We were on the ground floor and you could hear everything from the apartment directly above us, everything, even a phone conversation. The rent is too expensive for what you get, way too expensive, and there are apartment complexes everywhere on this side of Hillsboro. Valet trash, what a joke!! You pay $14.50 a month for one trash can, where they pick up your trash right outside your door. Problem is that they only pick up 5 days a week, so if the bag fills up on a Friday or Saturday then too bad. There are specific instructions for EVERYTHING related to your trash....recycling can only go in certain types of bags, trash can only be set outside during a certain time limit, and heaven forbid you leave your can outside for too long after trash is picked up...then you get an email reminder of how your trash can needs to come back inside. Oh, and speaking of emails, the complex was sent and email about a tenant having "too noisy" of a car, and there were complaints. So if you can't afford a BMW and happen to have a bad muffler until your next paycheck, you better watch out, the persnickety office staff will complain about you to the whole complex. Tenants don't pick up their dogs poop, so watch for poop bombs while you walk through the grass, which turns into a complete mud pit when it rains. I recommend buying rubber boots and listening to the squish, squish as you walk through the mud. If you have kids the playground becomes a pond during the rainy season. Trash lies around in the grass and on the sidewalks. If you get an icy day during the winter they will hardly throw any salt/sand/gravel down, so watch your step. We had to help a lady up who fell in the parking lot, when I told the office that they should do something more for our safety I got a canned reply back of "we do everything possible to ensure our tenants safety", and I was told they were sending maintenance crews out to salt that very minute. Yeah, my boyfriend called me to tell me that he walked around and saw no one out salting. And the process of moving out, oh just you wait for that experience. You get a nice long list of everything they will charge you for if your apartment isn't sparkling clean upon move out. Maintenance will show up with a camera in hand and start snapping pictures of everything they think is still wrong or unclean. They will even run their fingers along your blinds for dust, yeah, like the movies you see of kids in military or boarding school. They even took photos of the scratches on the inside of the cupboards, you know, the ones that your dishes inadvertently leave behind from just using the darn cupboards. It was ridiculous. My advice, avoid this place like the plague. Like I said, there are numerous apartment complexes within the same vicinity of this one...go there instead!!
I have lived here 3 months and have had nothing but problems. You can't use the microwave with anothing else or your breaker shuts off, appliances are out of date, and you can hardly cook on the stove without the smoke detectors going off. Lights are not hooked up to the light switches. Over all you get less then what you pay for.
The staffs are horrible. They don't care about you at all and they are the rudest staffs ever. I can only say "I will not recommend my friends to move in here". When you need the most, they will not answer your phones. When they were having a Slurry maintenance for the parking lot, they closed all the parking and suggested residents to park in an illegal place. They shut down the office and went home, just didn't care where residents parked..... And the notice was given like 3 days ago...... Some people even didn't get them. Apartment are also old. If you are living at the bottom floor, be prepared to hear squeaky, bang, creaking, and knocking noises from upstairs. They will never fix it even though they are aware of it....... What a pain!
Lived here for 8 years, experience was horrible. Bad management, appliances were not up to date. Had numerous problems while living here, water main break, power went out numerous times. Charge you to have valet garbage pick up which you have no choice but to accept it. Rent was expensive, with what we were paying could have lived in a house. Found a dead mouse in the hot tub filters, pool gets very disgusting during the summer, pool gets very foggy due to so many children peeing and sun screen. Glad I got out when I did. Would not recommend living here, there are better options.
Management is completely incompetent and lacks customer communication skills. The majority of parking spaces are covered and come at a cost, which leaves very few parking spaces left and most of the time, there isn't a single parking space available in the entire complex. The walls are thin, so management has mandated that laundry must be done within certain hours. Also, my packages delivered to the office were cut open and I was given empty boxes. Mostly, the leasing office is difficult to deal with and there is zero concern for the tenants.
