I lived at Sheridan Lake Club for one year and moved out first of the year 2016. On the positive, the pool area is very nice and the one bedroom apartments are spacious. I moved because the garbage dumpster is located inside the buildings on the first floor right next to apartments. They failed to mention this when I rented a first floor unit. As you can imagine, ROACHES are rampant and the complex does not provide pest control. All of my neighbors complained of the same issue. I had a pest control company come out to spray, but the guy told me as long as the dumpster is located inside next to the apartments - they would have to spray all the units including the dumpster areas. I purchased many cans of spray, but it's impossible to fight the problem when the garbage is next to the apartments. The front units are also very noisy from Sheridan traffic. I lived alone, never hung a picture, and had minimal furniture - travelled on business frequently - so the only occupants were the ROACHES most of the time. Despite this, the apartment deducts carpet cleaning, cleaning, and paint from your deposit. I had the carpet cleaned after I left and the place was cleaner than when I rented it. If you rent here, expect roaches and BS deductions from your deposit, but you at least have the pool.
I am a current resident, a new management company took over in Jan.and as of March they still havent set up online rent payments, the office hours that are POSTED are incorrect causing me to incur a late fee because I work and was unable to get to the office in time. Extremely disappointed that I was penalized for not having a convenient way to pay my rent. So no more positive feedback for this place and I most likely not be renewing my lease. Also it took about 2 months for maintenance to put my patio screen door back on the track , hate to think how long a serious work order would take to correct.
My husband and I lived at Sheridan Lake Club and had a totally positive experience. We relocated to another state, however if we ever go back to Florida I would definitely live here again. Geigo and Kirk help make it such a positive experience as they both take great pride in there work.
I have lived at Sheridan Lake Club for almost two years and I absolutely loved it! The management staff (Geigo, Kirk and Lian) are ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!! They provide very prompt, professional and courteous service to their residents. The apartments are well maintained and close to the beach. There is a Publix (brand new one) across the street. The grounds are kept very clean and the neighborhood is very welcoming on the whole. I would VERY HIGHLY recommend this apartment community to any prospective tenants. -Miguel E.
My girlfriend and I moved into this apartment complex about 8 months ago. We have not had any problems with our apartment and do not have anything negative to say about the complex as a whole. The gates are closed 24/7 throughout the week and weekend. If there is ever a problem with the gates (e.g. they won't close) it has been repaired within a business day. When we first moved in we had a problem with our water heater and management gave us no problem when asked if they would replace it. As with other maintenance requests that we have submitted (e.g. fixing the toilet, weather strip under the front door) they were all completed in a timely manner. The individuals of the management team are very friendly and accommodating. The fitness room is small but has all the essentials to ensure a quality workout. During the winter, the thermostat was not working in the fitness room after office hours due to the cool temperature outside. Once the problem was addressed with Kirk, the problem was rectified very quickly. All in all, I would and have recommended this complex to friends in the area that are searching for apartments in a relatively affordable price range given the area it is located in.
