I moved to Los Altos December 2015 and my experience here has been awesome! I love my wood plank flooring and the apartment is homey. My neighbors are awesome! Even though I have a neighbor with a dog above me, he is so considered and keeps the pet quiet. All the neighbors thus far have been so polite and helpful. I would recommend this complex to anyone! The leasing agents and maintenance have been there when I've needed them. Love you guys!
I just moved in a few days ago and I'm absolutely in love! The leasing and maintenance staff are professional and very punctual! Also the apartment and grounds are absolutely gorgeous. It's definitely a great place to call home and it's GATED!! I am so in love with this place I am definitely looking forward to the next 14+ months ahead!
So I’ve lived at this apartment complex for 3 years. The neighborhood even though advertised as gated for the most part the gate does not work, or when it does another car can drive in behind previous car; which my car was broken into. I moved because the on 02/01/16 due to the rent being increased from $767.00 to $902 without any upgrades. Now after being there for so long, I am being charged move out charges unfairly. I was charged due to “worn out carpet due to traffic” as they put it, I was charged for a stain, which there was no stain, I was double charged for water bill and when I sent an email requesting an explanation, I was just forwarded the bill with again. I requested a walk thru when I spoke with Stephanie and she advised me that we can do one when I moved out, I got to the office and was told by Arianna that they do not complete walk thru and that is done on their own time by Mindy who is managing multiple locations. If this is not unethical I am not sure what is. This is absolutely not the way to treat anyone. I will continue to write my honest review as I see it until I get the attention that is needed to resolve this matter. The management lacks any empathy, sense of urgency or any understanding when it comes to dealing with their tenants. It’s an embarrassment that these people are allowed to deal with the general public.
I've lived here a year and a half. I like my apartment; but, unfortunately they are overpriced for the quality. These may appear nice at first, but you'll soon discover they are highly energy INEFFICIENT as they lack insulation and the windows/doors/HVAC are probably from the 70's. My electric bill for a 1BR runs about $150 in the summer months FYI. Additionally, I didn't appreciate the $100-300/month rent increase at lease renewal. They trapped me at lease renewal because I only had two days to decide and I didn't want the hassle of moving (they know people don't want that hassle so they get away with jacking up the rent).
I don't know why this complex has such a low rating. I have loved living here. I moved in with a terrible roommate, and they handled everything professionally when we decided for her to move out. The staff is very chill and accommodating. Don't expect them to be lenient on their policies (or else why would they have them- it's a business!), but they are understanding and will work with you however they can with a lot of circumstances.
