I've been living here about eight months and i couldn't be happier. Although my dog is a menace to the building, they are super helpful and friendly and never give me a hard time about his behavior issues. The staff are great. I always feel comfortable and welcome to talk with both Audra and Blake, which has really helped the transition to Denver and my life here. Even my dog loves them considering he doesn't like very many people that is a huge plus. I'm so glad i made the decision to live at Talavera.
Best place I've ever lived. All questions answered all maintenance taken care of. Amenities are the best. Wouldn't think of living anywhere else. Staff is the friendliest I have had the pleasure of dealing with.
Great staff! Real-estate is all about location .. Talavera rates above best location .. Neighbors friendly, professional yet knows when and how to party.. Community diversity ... east cost, west cost mid-west middle eastern Talavera is a top notch global community..
Have lived at Talavera for two years. The place is aesthetically pleasing, not cookie-cutter like most apartment complexes. However, that is really the only nice thing about this place. Well, actually the gym is well-stocked for an apartment complex gym, but you have to share it with personal trainers who conduct their business in the gym. There are definitely people they train who do not live here as I have witnessed them propping the doors open for them. We found a business card of a trainer who listed the apartment complex address as their gym address (the management pretty much said "we do not get involved in that"). The reviewer below is right about the spring break atmosphere of the pool. There is blaring music most weekends and some weeknights, we have been kept up late. There is now a security guard so if you are awakened at 1 am by noise at the pool area, you call a security guard who will come in a half hour, so you only lose a small amount of sleep. This is actually an improvement. Once I had to walk down to the pool and ask people to turn off their music at midnight on a weeknight when my husband was sick and trying desparately to get rest. The elevators and hallways are like a sauna and I have found dog poop in the stairwells and elevator. People leave their trash everywhere. Again, nice looking apartments. If you get an apartment facing away from the courtyard and don't use the common areas, probably just fine.
The units themselves are nice enough but thats not all there is to living in an apartment building. During the summer and even on weekdays the pool is a constant mtv spring break-esque party with incredibly loud music until late at night. If you have a job which apparently many here dont, that doesnt quite work. People let their dogs pee and poo in the hallways, elevators, and garage and dont clean up. Over the christmas holiday there was poo in the elevator for at least four days straight. People leave empty fast food bags all over the garage. I would stay away if you are looking for an adult rental experience which for the price it should be.
