We moved in about 3 months ago. It is such a nice area with lots to do. Their pools are clean as are the rec equipment. We live in a remodeled version and I must say I can really tell the difference when I got the electric/gas bill!! They have an amazing dog park that is HUGE. I have gone through the reviews from the last couple years and have not experienced any negative aspect. Except ceiling fans would be nice. Keri was the first person of contact when we were first looking for a new place to live , she was amazing ,along with the rest of the staff we have had to deal with. I recently was laid off at my job and they were very understanding and willing to work with me as far as payment. They didn't make it a nightmarish headache like they easily could have. I have noticed the maintenance crew is very efficient and friendly and keep the place clean. One other thing I really like is there are lots of doggy waste and clean up stations. And when we have company there is plenty of extra parking where I'm at. Very happy here.
I have lived here for two- plus years. I have loved it. Maybe the staff was different before, I don't know but in the 2 years I have lived here not much has changed, thankfully. My apartment is on the first floor, and yes, of course I hear the neighbors if they have their music on high, or if their kids are pretending to be elephants on the stairs. But I have had a really good experience. The staff has been wonderful, very responsive! They have even come to remove a spider from the bathtub. I haven't had more than 2 in the 2 years, but they removed both! The maintenance staff has been very kind and professional which has been a blessing they usually come same day and in fact same few hours. Most places cannot say that. If they can't fix something, they find someone who can. I can only speak for myself, but this is how it has been for me. I just recently broke my foot in 3 places, it has been very painful and my dog has suffered only in that the walks are shorter and slower due to me using a walker. The office and/or maintenance staff, whoever is available, has come to my apartment to get my dog and take him to the dog park or on a long walk! If that isn't customer service, I don't know what is!! They have a person to stand under the trees to make sure there is enough room to walk, the maintenance staff goes around the community once a month to pick up dog feces that their owners were to lazy to pick up, and refill the bags. The grass is watered all spring/summer long to keep the area looking green! I think its an excellent place to live. Yes, it is expensive, there is no doubt, but with the light rail within the community, the dog park two steps away, for someone with a decent salary, or a couple, its perfect!
My wife and I have resided here in a two bedroom unit with our small dog just short of two years and it's has been a great experience. The facilities (including fitness center) and grounds are well maintained and the entire staff has been courteous, friendly, and helpful. Mike and his maintenance staff have been exceptionally responsive to our maintenance requests, and do a great job on snow removal, litter pick-up and cleaning up after negligent pet owners. The office staff . . Leticia, Angela, Melissa, Kari and Haylee will do anything within their power to assist their tenants and have even let my dog out in an emergency. This is a pet and kid friendly complex. For those that have school age children, a bus pick up for the Cherry Creek School District is in front of the leasing office. We have not experienced rowdy or noisy tenant behavior during our tenure here. Convenient location to major highways and rail station. Definitely recommended!
I leased a 1-bedroom unit sight unseen. Needless to say the amenities the unit was "supposed" to contain were not present. Despite an "upscale" price, the contractor's and materials installed are sub-standard. There's paint on EVERYTHING: carpets, mirrors, fixtures... it was obvious no drop cloth was used as they slopped on the paint. I suppose management considers the streaks of running/dripping paint as 'decorative', the carpet is cheap builder grade and worn (should have been replaced), the cabinets were "resurfaced (meaning they applied wood grain adhesive tape to cosmetically hide their condition). The grounds are always littered with trash and debris; it often feels as if the tenants are low income housing/Section 8 types. To confirm this there's been incidents which someone has spray-painted obscenity on the interior walls and carpets. The management staff lacks any follow-up ability and maintenance is a joke. We have had several issues and it seems the groundskeepers double as the maintenance crew.
We scheduled a tour at 4:30 p.m. two days in advance with Hailey. Upon arrival at 4:18 we were greeted by a maintenance worker. I informed him we had an appointment with Hailey at 4:30 and was told to have a seat because two other people were ahead of us. I'm not sure he understood the term "appointment". We waited until 4:32 to remind a different maintenance that we had an appointment with Hailey (who apparently had taken one of the two people ahead of us without checking her calendar). He apologized and asked us if we'd be willing to wait. We agreed. At 4:45 a person walked in behind us and was taken immediately. That would be when I lost my patience and walked out. If you can't even bother to honor an appointment and take people out of turn, I can't imagine how you treat your current tenants. Absolutely unacceptable.
