This hotel is about as good as it gets- it's beautiful and the rooms are incredibly sexy and well maintained. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. My girlfriend and I had an amazing time and I hope to be able to come back at some point because it was the best hotel experience I've had thus far in my life.
If possible I would not even give them one star. I am a new mom and my husband bought a massage for me at their spa as a gift and a few hours of "me" time. I was so looking forward to it. I get there and I am told that they have a "massage suite" reserved for me. Ok, nice. So what is this "massage suite" it is a couple of massage tables in their board room...I am not kidding. In you bath robe you are taken on a elevator (with other hotel guests looking at you) to another level where you walk past there rooms and then end up in a board room. It was so bright in there and the music was played on a iphone ysing Pandora! Are you kidding me!!! There is no spa atmosphere at all. I was extremely disappointed with this. Then my masseuse was another issue. She was super loud to begin with...lady I am here to relax. Then she runs out of oil in the middle of my massage and had to go out of the room to get more and on her way in out of my room she was banging the doors so loud that it would wake anyone up from a deep sleep. I was super annoyed by this. You are a top rated Spa where are your Spa etiquette. I was also told that they validate parking...when someone tells me that I assume it is 100% validation and not 50%...may be they should mention that when they are telling their customers so incase you don't want to send $15 on parking on top of $150 massage you have that option. I was so so so disappointed in the whole experience. I am never going back and would not recommend their spa to any one
First time in Chicago and stayed here for a few night. We had a room on the 42nd floor which had an amazing view! Rooms are of a great size, beds are super comfortable, and staff all very friendly and attentive. Will stay again!
Great views and extremely kid friendly - little kids eat for free, kids get their own souvenir clothing etc - a nice touch from a top class hotel chain
A good friend married here and, though it was a stretch for us at $465, we decided to make an overnight of it. Our first night away from kids since becoming parents 2 years before with a 7 month old at home. I was looking forward to it more than I like to admit. After staying up past midnight (rare occurrence) the phone rang at 5:30 a.m. I was in such a fog and the room was so dark, I was banging around trying to remember where I was. As I continued to look for the phone I realized that everyone knew how important this night was to me and they wouldn't call me unless my children were dead. So, still looking for phone, this is what I've decided has happened. I answer the phone hysterical. "This is your 5:30 wake up call." I started bawling. "WHAAAATTT?" Are you kidding me?" I knew I was too full of adrenalin after that shock to get back to sleep and, sure enough, I didn't sleep again. My husband, Mr. non-confrontation insisted we check out at usual time. I complained at check out and they said they would offer me a discount on my next stay at any 4 Seasons. Ha! Big waste of $500 which was so darn much money for us.
