I have been living at Presidio in a one bedroom apartment for about 8 months now, and could not be happier! Presidio is a quiet, and very friendly environment. I have never experienced any noise complaints, or problems with my unit. The few maintenance requests I have made have all been addressed very quickly by very friendly employees. The cost is very reasonable for what you get, and the fact that I am right off of I-25 and I-225, but yet hear no noise, is perfect. I couldn't give these apartments a better recommendation! Move here, you'll love it. The staff knows you by name, plan community events, and go above and beyond to make Presidio feel like a home.
My husband and I lived here for a year; overall it was a positive experience. Here are just a few tidbits, that potential renters might want to be aware of: -super pet friendly - a huge plus for those w/ dogs and cats -relatively safe environment - there were nights I had forgotten to lock my pickup, and I never once felt the need to go back out to the garage to lock it -maintenance is AWESOME - we always had any issues w/ the apartment fixed in a timely fashion -apartments are relatively soundproof; we happened to have a top floor apartment, so I can't speak for those that have neighbors above AND below them -with the above being said; DO NOT take a north-facing apartment if you are a light sleeper....the office buildings to the north hire out snow plows in the winter, and at 3 a.m., whenever there's snow, they are out there plowing, and it's EXTREMELY loud (scraping along the asphalt) - definitely NOT conducive for those that work long hours and need all the sleep they can get! -I suppose the biggest gripe, however small it may seem, is the office doesn't contact you if you have a package delivered to the main office (instead of being placed in a lock box in the mail room) - as a person who received surprise care packages, gifts, etc on a frequent basis, how is one to know if they had something delivered?!? - and don't count on FedEx or other postal carriers to specify if it was left at the apartment or in the office - there was many a time we wondered if it was stolen, delivered to the wrong apartment, etc - office staff; be kind to your tenants, and take the extra minute or two to send an email to renters and let them know they have a package!
I just moved into Presidio a couple weeks ago. There was confusion about storage space on the balcony. Just a little info if you are planning on moving here, not every apartment comes with a storage room. I was told that there would be one, but there wasn't in the apartment I rented. The complex was quick to rectify the situation, and offered us storage in the parking garage. Thank you Presidio for working with us on that issue. The apartments are beautiful and very conveniently located near the DTC, I-25 and 225. I do not hear noise in the apartments next to mine. It's a very beautiful, quiet and friendly place to live. The staff in the office are especially helpful and very nice
I loved living at Presidio! The staff is very friendly and quick to respond to service requests or emailed questions. Everyone on staff, from maintenance, to cleaning, to the office is very friendly. The only reason I am moving out is because I will be moving in with 2 other people and need more space. The building is quiet and well kept. I would recommend anyone to live here.
I moved to Presidio 3 months ago. The apartment itself and the community looked nice when I visited it, but since my first week the noises on the ceiling (the floor of top unit) turned my bedroom to a nightmare. The wooden floor makes A LOT of squeaking noises when my neighbors walk in their bedroom which you would expect to here in really old buildings. This happenes all the time and even in the early morning which disturbed my sleeping. The wooden floor of the building is poorly made which is the main reason of the problem. I told my problem to the front desk after I first noticed it and it caused sleeping problems to me several times, they looked nice about it at first, but did not do anything about it. After more than 6 weeks of continues torture, they said there is nothing that they can do about it, and I can move to a top floor apartment if I want. You can imagine how inconvenience it would be to move again after a few weeks of my initial move, however, I accepted the offer. It has been more than 5 weeks now, and I am still waiting for them to find me a unit to move!!! I am seeping in the living room now which is a little less noise effected! I am paying for a one bedroom apartment which I can not use the bedroom!! Moving here was my biggest mistake, and I would not recommend it to anyone who is looking for a peaceful and standard apartment!
