I moved to Presidio 3 months ago. The apartment itself and the community looked nice when I visited it, but since my first week the noises on the ceiling (the floor of top unit) turned my bedroom to a nightmare. The wooden floor makes A LOT of squeaking noises when my neighbors walk in their bedroom which you would expect to here in really old buildings. This happenes all the time and even in the early morning which disturbed my sleeping. The wooden floor of the building is poorly made which is the main reason of the problem. I told my problem to the front desk after I first noticed it and it caused sleeping problems to me several times, they looked nice about it at first, but did not do anything about it. After more than 6 weeks of continues torture, they said there is nothing that they can do about it, and I can move to a top floor apartment if I want. You can imagine how inconvenience it would be to move again after a few weeks of my initial move, however, I accepted the offer. It has been more than 5 weeks now, and I am still waiting for them to find me a unit to move!!! I am seeping in the living room now which is a little less noise effected! I am paying for a one bedroom apartment which I can not use the bedroom!! Moving here was my biggest mistake, and I would not recommend it to anyone who is looking for a peaceful and standard apartment!
We have lived here for about 9 months now and we love Presidio! It's a great location in the DTC and near the lightrail. Property is clean and well kept. Management has been very responsive to all our questions and handled our concerns with discretion, respect, and effectiveness. Very pleased with our living situation.
We have a giant breed dog, so it is hard to find some where to live, and we were super excited she was welcomed here! There are poop stations throughout the property, so picking up and dropping off is convenient. We have only lived here a couple of months, but it is overall the best apartment experience I have ever had. Apartments are a nice open concept and feel very roomy and have full size stackable W/D, wide soaking tubs, spacious bathrooms, marble countertops, hardwood floor in kitchen & entry, and tile in the bathroom. The only time I ever hear neighbors, is when I step into the hallway. My neighbors listen to their TV/radio so loud I can clearly make out what they are listening to, yet in my apartment I have never heard a sound, including no highway or lightrail sounds. Would have liked more complete information upon moving in, such as "This is a restricted property, so although you may have any cable service you want, you must contact Comcast to schedule the installation, and here is their number . . .", or it would be cool to know where the off leash dog area is, as I am sure my baby would enjoy that, or this is how you get into the fitness center after office hours, etc., but the apartment itself is awesome. Maintenance staff is super responsive and awesome at following up after, office staff are friendly, and the website mostly works. Know that if you change your contact email at any time, it will change your log in information; no one will inform you of this, just one of those things you get to figure out on your own.
As always, customer service goes a long way with me - and the staff here truly exemplifies customer service. Always willing to answer questions and help out - and a quick drive to anywhere you need! Plus, who doesn't love living within 10 minutes of an IKEA??
Staff is very friendly and helpful although there could be more of them in front during the weekends when it is busy with tours. Garage bumps are very annoying and I would like to see them replaced completely with the dots. Doors slam very easily but neighbors are rarely heard....unless they are slamming the front door. Very beautiful place to live and very social!
