I lived in building 4901 which was burned down a few years ago and rebuilt so it is the nicest building in the apartment complex, so I liked all of the updates they did. The thing that I did not like at all is that the employees walk in your apartment when your not there without a warning or appointment to do random things that you weren't even aware of. For instance, today they walked in without notice while a friend of mine was there. She was shocked that they just walked in to measure a window, but the sketchy thing is that all of the apartments are identical so why would they need to measure a window? I think they lie and do whatever they want when they want which takes away from tenants privacy. I would never live here again.
I lived there for 3 years. I lived in two different buildings while there. They keep the grounds clean, apartments are adequate. People are friendly. Thats about where the good stops. Management is terrible, there is a different person in the office just about every other month. Things went relatively smoothly until its time to move out. Here are some things to consider while living there. -Reception is terrible, no matter where you are -Utilities are split between all units…so even if you're frugal in the winter (or not even there with everything turned off) the bill will be very high as others are cranking the ac and heat. This was has been proved with my last utility bill. -They have a tow company that rolls through the complex…unacceptable. -Random walk throughs are ridiculous. They don't make sense at all. Those are things to be aware of while living there. Now…here is how they handle move outs. -They somehow lost my entire deposit, said I paid a Surety bond, once questioned about it they cannot prove they ever did surety bonds. Run arounds…no body wants to own up to it because they are inherently sketchy. - Tried to charge additional rent / ozone charges for what? We paid up on rent and the apartment was professionally cleaned before move out. These are just tacked on to milk more money. -An entire month of water was billed…even though we haven't been there for over 2 months, its laughable. So upon losing my deposit, lying about it, and then nickel and diming me for things I never used I have to say I'm very disappointed. Be cautious, you're better off moving into a local house, they are plentiful and end up being cheaper than this place.
