DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! Maintenance is a joke. You will have to submit multiple requests to have anything taken care of and then call the corporate office to finally get anything done. It took four tries to get a new dishwasher that would make the dishes dirtier after running them through any cycle. I have now sent three requests to have my door fixed and they after more and more foam strips have been applied it has become worse. If you want what you pay for don't come here and spend over $1000 a month on a fixer upper that never gets fixed. Stay away from Dominion Constant Friendship.
RUN TO THE HILLS! DO NOT MOVE HERE. PLEASE READ Moving to Dominion Constant Friendship apartments was the most regrettable decision I have ever made in my life, and I really mean it. The noise level is incredible because the entire construction of the buildings/units is poor. While living on the 3rd floor, I would hear my neighbors on the 2nd and 1st level and those living next door to me. I would hear my neighbors snore, having sex, neighbor masturbating (yes, I heard him talking to himself about how good he makes himself feel), arguing, domestic violence, screaming, slamming doors, playing musical instruments, and blasting music. Everyday from a long day of work, I would come home and it sound like a stampede from Jumanji. It's so unbelievable; one neighbor on the 1st floor played her music extremely loud from 5pm to 6am the next day, after we approached them about it 6am in the morning, she turned it off. That was when I had enough. Normally, I wouldn't do that but the leasing office would not do anything about the problem. It was especially terrible, since we had a newborn. They were also on drugs -not that I judge anyone for what they do, but they had rave parties in their own apartment and their company would be so drunk that they would crash into parked cars in the parking lot and drive off. The maintenance men were not much a problem, but indeed the neighbors and office staff. One year, our neighbors set off fireworks in a filled parking lot on July 4th late at night and all night. I have no problem with fireworks but the fact that it went on all night waking the entire community up and then in a parking lot with cars only 10-20 feet away. Even more, when people are going up and down the outdoor staircase, you will not only hear them doing so but you will feel it. Yes -our apartment would shake every single time someone used the stairs and/or closed their doors. The Business Manager, Missa, was also terrible. It was so bad there that I refused to pay anymore rent and broke my lease. I've had two previous apartments and have never done that before. It was like money going out the door and window, I couldn't bare this place any longer. Not only was Missa extremely rude but also very unprofessional. She's so rude that I assume she was trained to be that way given the amount of people she had to work with and the diverse problems. Another instance: Whenever it snows and you don't want to fall, then you better buy a shovel and salt. They refused to shovel and to use salt. I complained (in person) at the leasing office and the woman told me that the reason why they do not put down salt is because it's too expensive. That's no excuse for a business that is providing shelter to hundreds of people. Same with in the fall, prepare to slip on leave because they will not remove them. I noticed that the day I first visited the place, but I took the chance. I'm happy we had this place only for the fact that I wasn't homeless. Do not fall for the kind staff when you first inquire about the place -they are salesmen and saleswomen. My recommendation to anyone who has to rent is rent a house -rancher or townhouse. Living with other people can be horrific, especially if you know more about them then you want to know just because of thin walls. If you have to move here because you have no time or no option, I wish you the very best and I feel for you.
I have lived here for a year and I really enjoy the location and the apartment but the staff has gone downhill. They do not respond to complaints, everything has to be done in writing, and their maintenance is rude (at best). Also, one side note...unless your above neighbors are elderly...you will hear every conversation and every step they take.
