It was a dream. My uncle and aunt have always lived in apartments, but these surprised me. They have a gym, pool, cinema, computer area, lounges to play pool and to enjoy the books on the shelfs, parks, basketball courts, beautiful views, amazing architecture work, modern rooms, mini stores, the spectrum is neart there, and I love that the people living there could customize the apartments by painting the walls. It is all peaceful, although, I do wish the prices were around 900-2500 dollars because they have been increasing severly. The parking space can sometimes be a problem and I hate the cars that are always going at a high velocity, you can here them, it's mostly the mustangs.
It is now 22:54 on a Tuesday night and I've been awaken again by the juvenile delinquents and their loud cars, loud voices and just an overall disrespect for the community they live in. As I write this, my patio door is open, there is a group of five (5) young men speaking in a foreign language with absolutely NO RESPECT for the residents around the area they have congregated. I had to call the Courtesy Officer to break the group up. I just moved in on November 9, 2014. I'm exercising The Irvine Company 30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee and am moving out of here by December 10, 2014. I'll be moving into a motel before then, the noise levels in this community are atrocious - well beyond anything acceptable. If you're used to any kind of peace and quiet, this IS NOT the place for you. If you drive a loud sports car, don't care about Western Culture, then this IS the place for you. If you want a place where you can leave your garbage and someone picks up after you, this IS the place for you. If you want a place where you can smoke wherever you want, spit wherever you want and disrespect the Western Culture, then this IS the place for you. DON'T BE FOOLED by the beautiful surroundings, the overabundance of amenities, etc. - it's all a facade. I made the mistake of being influenced by the amenities and it has cost me - a lot! Not only monetarily, but it is now taking its toll on me mentally and physically. Please read ALL of the Yelp Reviews including those that appear at the bottom of the page under a link titled "48 other reviews that are not currently recommended." You're going to find that everything being stated in the 1-3 star reviews is absolutely true. There is no need for me to repeat it because I will not be as diplomatic as those that have already left a review. If you do decide to rent at The Village, don't let them put you in a unit that faces any of the streets, you will regret every minute of it, especially once the sun sets. The freaks do come out at night around here. Stay away from any unit that is close to the circle or any retail front, the noise levels are unbearable. What a nightmare! I've not been able to get a solid six (6) hours of sleep since moving in. I've been woken up at least 2 times each night from the cars and all the loud talking. Oh, Saturday nights are party time around here. That was my first night trying to sleep. I was awaken at least 4 times that night. If you work from home, are an early riser and early to bed, this IS NOT the place to be. And, with the continuing construction going on close by (which I was NOT informed of), you won't be able to enjoy your days with windows open, birds chirping, etc. Honestly? I don't even think the birds come here. THANK YOU IRVINE COMPANY FOR THE 30 DAY SATISFACTION GUARANTEE! That is the only thing I can thank you for at this point. This mistake and your lack of disclosure cost me well over $4,000.00 and now I'm starting from scratch again looking for a new place to live. Note for the Irvine Company Social Media Manager: Please don't leave your standard corporate reply, I don't need to be lied to. Don't tell me that there is a local car event that causes the loud cars to be around. I've been to the Cars and Coffee event, most of those folks are law abiding, respectful, Westernized U.S. Citizens and it's an event that only occurs on Saturday mornings from 6:00 AM to approximately 9:00 AM. That event has nothing to do with the residents within this community who drive through here with no respect for others at all times of the day and night.
The Village Talks about PEDOPHILIA every day. They want a man to be a PEDOPHILE, even he is not. They don't wan this man to have any sexual relations with a woman or to be rich. No is allowed to talk to him only crooked suicidal under cover police. The Net work of bullies is taking turns disturbing this man. PLEASE WATCH YOUR KIDS AROUND THESE PEOPLE.
I am a long term resident that is moving out. If I could give this apartment community 0 stars I would. DO NOT MOVE HERE. Let me list the reasons. 1. They rent out furnished apartments on a month to month basis to tenants from another country who do not care about the community. Why? The Money. The effect? Horrible neighbors. They drive their supercars through the community at all hours of the night. The amount of times I have had to call the "Security Patrol" to address this is ridiculous. 2. They contract a landscaping service to come every day whether or not its needed. The landscaping service comes early in the morning and uses a gas blower that can be heard throughout the community. If you work from home, this makes it impossible. Why they cant use a broom to do the same work is beyond me. 3. They have two constructions sites going on. First, the site off of Irvine Center and Alton where they are building yet another community. Second, they are building the largest building in OC off of Irvine Center and Spectrum. That means construction for the next 2-3 years. NOT WORTH IT. Just ask them or drive by the sites. 4. Piggybacking off reason #1, because they have been at capacity, they have raised the rents every year for the past 4 years. So not only has the community gotten worse, they are now charging a premium to live here. There are much better options elsewhere. 5. The amount of disrespect from these people is beyond reproach. They disrespect the other residents and the property itself. Most of them are smokers who litter their cigarette butts and, in my case, put them out on walls and other various places that bring down the appeal of the community. Lastly, this is not just my sentiment. I have found many other residents similar to myself who are moving out with the same disgust. Rarely have I been so infuriated that I take the time to write a review. This is one of those times. STAY AWAY. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
