I've lived here for almost a year, and I LOVE them. They are clean and the layout is fantastic. The staff, especially Serci and Lauren, are very friendly. Once, I accidentally double paid my rent online, and they took the time to contact their headquarters and get it reversed within one day. The pool and hot tub are so nice, as is the workout area. The view is unreal because you can see Clinton Lake and Alvamar Lake, and I love taking people on the patio to see it. I worked in Topeka and the commute was easy because there are no stoplights in between here and my office. I feel very safe, the neighborhood is quiet and friendly. I love the full size washer and dryer and my fireplace. Maintenance is almost immediate. We are really close to Clinton Lake which rocks in the summer. Downsides: Last summer the spiders were BAD because we are out by the trees, and I DO NOT do spiders. However, I simply asked them to come and spray a couple couple times and the problem was fixed. This year they came out bad again, but within a week of them appearing they were all gone and taken care of. I live on the third floor which has a great view, but it sucks to walk up. That's me being lazy.
Pinnacle Woods has been a phenomenal place to live! Since my first time on property to paying monthly rent, I always have an enjoyable experience when connecting with someone from staff! Maintenance requests are fulfilled quickly and followed up on. Pets are welcomed and very well kept amongst those within the community! Rent is reasonable and the staff is very reliable! Highly recommended!
My wife and I have been living in this complex for about two years. The management is absolutely wonderful to us. They know both of us by name, know our pet's names, and frequently ask if there is anything they can do to help improve our quality of life. They put on community activities such as dinners and poker nights. The facilities are definitely some of the nicer in Lawrence, and their maintenance staff provides rapid assistance, and has always been very respectful towards us. I highly recommend the location. There isn't much, if anything I can think of to change.
I live here since the summer of 2011 and I am satisfied about this neighborhood. It's very quiet and I can always get decent sleep at night. It's a beautiful place and near Clinton state park. I can run a small 4 mile loop through Rotary Arboretum or bike to Clinton lake. If you like any outdoor activities, this is a nice place to get all of them, camping, fishing, running, and biking. This place is very animal friendly, and there is a nice dog park called Mutt Run Off-Leash Dog Park nearby. When I am tired of driving, I can also take a bus from 24th and Wakarusa. If you know a short cut, 5 min walk is not too bad. Parking sometimes could be a bit headache, because I usually come home late at night, so I would have to park a bit far away from my apartment, but it really depends on neighbors.
This place SUCKS. The management doesn't help you out at all when there is a problem. My kitchen has flooded 4 separate times now because of a plumbing issue upstairs. They haven't called a plumber yet to come in and fix it, just keep trying to fix it internally. They won't give me money for food since I can't use my kitchen sink. The people living above us are loud as hell and it sounds like bowling balls are dropping on our ceiling at all times of the day and night and am STILL waiting for them to call me back regarding the noise. PLEASE DO NOT LIVE HERE.
