Do you have money? Do you like people watching? This is your place! A Kansas City icon, this is an extremely ups shopping district. The Plaza Lights are a holiday tradition. Definitely a go to.

Overall very good shopping center. Parking is hard to find during high traffic times. There are street performers who are annoying sometimes. Sometimes there are proselytizers who will harass you too. The police should probably do something about that.

Parking is the worst thing about the Plaza, but if you know where to look it's bearable. Head to the garage next to Barnes & Noble on 47th first. If you go up a level or two, there are usually open spots.

Living in the Plaza, we are impressed at how beautiful they keep everything. Our favorite things are the annual art fair and other events going on year round! Although all the restaurants here are good for their own reasons, our go-to places in the evenings were Buca di Beppo & Cooper's Hawk.

The Plaza features so many stores; it's a perfect place to bring KC visitors. It is such an experience to walk with friends or family around the Plaza, particularly in the evening, as well as in any season. Only issue is that driving and/or parking may be difficult for newcomers.
