I have lived here for two and a half years. I've had minor issues since I lived here such as leaky hose in the back of the fridge that clogged the ice maker and a dryer problem once or twice. Truly all of these people complaining are just nit picking. Maintenance was never an issue whenever I needed something fixed. They would come out quickly and professionally. The pool is pretty nice and has tons of seating and lay back chairs plus a grill area. The gym is only alright but if you're that serious about working out, don't go to the apartment gym for God's sake. Hell there's a fitness trail right in the complex with pull up bars, dip bars, an abdominal workout area and some nice lakes and trees. I rarely had any noise issues and we've had children downstairs the entire time I've lived here. I only hear the tenants when they would argue (rarely). Admittedly I might be biased since I live in an upstairs unit but we all try to tip toe around so we aren't annoying our downstairs tenants. One of my only complaints is the $50 "MAAC Connect" fee every month. I imagine this is the built in cable and if you have Bright House or Verizon, you'll have to pay the $50 plus the cable bill. Sometimes the garbage compactor is also overflowing because renters don't realize you have to throw the bag into the compactor, not just casually lay it in there. I can't fault the property owners for the laziness of humans. I would certainly recommend this place to others
I moved here in 2014 thinking it was a great first small apartment for me. I was so wrong. While it was quiet for the most part since I lived in the back, the apartment had every issue possible. Upon move in, it was filthy and they assured me it was "deep cleaned". Then, I noticed the countertops weren't even level since anything round I set on there rolled right off. The cabinets had screws missing. The bathroom had mold painted over. They charged me $50 to change the locks to get my abusive boyfriend away from me. Finally, and thankfully upon move out, I packed up fast and left. But of course! They told me I owed money due to an underpayment ? Somehow - yet I got my deposit back. So they put it on my credit report to be total lovely people. I fought that, thankfully that's off, and I really hope for no one to ever move here and go through this crap. They look nice. They do. But they're crappy apartments and the agents screw you over.
Being in the military, my family and I have had our share of apartment living. However, this has been the WORST experience by far and thankfully this will be our last apartment that we will ever live in. Save your sanity by not living in a downstairs unit if you can help it. Otherwise, you will hear every single stomp, bump, bang, jump, you name it, which contributes to your lights flickering and even going completely out. Oh and when they go out, especially the fancy track lighting in the kitchen which definitely will, you have to replace the bulb with your own money (as if they're not already nickel and diming you for everything else). The construction is absolutely HORRIBLE and CHEAP and you will be affected by every single thing your neighbors do. Including them letting water overflow in their bathroom which will cause your ceiling to leak. This will surely contribute to mold I am sure! I surely wish we had a trial run before signing the lease because we would have NOT signed it! We are counting the days until we leave this terrible apartment. We met a couple who had the exact same complaints as we did so please do not rent here as it is not just us. MAA definitely failed with this one.
Apartments are small for the price. Well, the walls are thin as paper. I can hear next door guys so clearly. Outside, walkways, water ponds, and management is good.
So far so good, the fitness center and pool are nice this property is at least a 4 star (not a 2.4 like the avg shows)
