Put aside the fact that rent is way too high for the poor quality apartments, the management will lose your checks, charge late fees/ask you to pay for unexplained fees, and are extremely hard to get in contact with/do business with, especially if you are off premise. The management has gone through two change in managers in my time there and no change has come about. The newest manager is slightly more friendly, but if she truly cared about her relations with her tenants, she would fire the unfriendly, cold team members she continues to oversee (they won't even welcome you apron moving in!!) I would NEVER rent with them again and I encourage all to stay away from this complex. Don't let the "pet friendly" perk pull you in- when it's time to move out, they'll charge you a handsome fee to clean the carpets that your pets supposedly infected with fleas (even though fleas have never been spotted on your dog EVER, and as a dog trainer/professional, I'd think I'd see/know the signs). Please take my warnings seriously and consider moving elsewhere. PS- don't listen to their bullish** responses to the numerous hate reviews posted here. It is literally all an act to try to suck in more money. On that note, happy apartment searching! :)
I have been a tenant for a little over a year, and I honestly do not agree with the previous comments. I think Crossbrook is a wonderful place to live. I have 2 children, and they enjoyed the pool and play ground the most. The residence, office and maintenance staff are very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to others.
Absolutely Terrible Management Do Not Rent from these dishonest people - you'll be sorry!!!
Thin walls between apartments
Before I start I'd like to contradict the review below. Treat the office staff with respect and all you will get is the same unpleasant people. They have 'lost' my rent check and said they never received it even when I showed them the receipt for delivery from UPS saying it had been delivered. Sure this place looks nice on the outside but don't be misled by the tour. The appliances in the apartments are old and non functional. If you do get lucky enough to get new appliances, well hope that they work, because if not it will take the incompetent management of this place months to send out a work order and fix it. The crime in this complex in unbelievable. It destroys the small town feel of beautiful Rohnert Park, when people are stealing bikes left and right, vagrants scour the trash at five in the morning, and the police are arresting someone in the complex a few times a month. If all this doesn't persuade you to turn around and run at the sight of the three self conceded office workers who run this place, how about your sleep? I am off Fridays and like to sleep in on these days, yet I am always unable to do so because Friday mornings at 8:30 is when construction (which is on going) and gardening all begin in the complex. The sound of a leaf blower outside your window, hammers banging across the way, saws cutting wood outside your door is the best way to begin your day off. Don't get me wrong the maintenance man here is a good, knowledgeable guy who is always willing to help at anytime, but can only do so much when you have a complex full of problems. Please, I urge you: Save yourself a lot of grief and move somewhere else.
