Was only visiting a friend at this place and was towed! The tow sign is not readable at dark! And there are not signs on the specific spots! Absolutely ridiculous! The tow company had my car for maybe 30 min and charged 114.00. . That's not all......!!!!!! If you have a dog and it poops and you don't clean it up, they can find out who's dog it is by checking it's DNA. I would never ever ever rent from them! Can't believe these owners can sleep at night knowing the ridiculous things they do!
Okay, I have updated this three times now and it does not seem to be taking it, I had a long summary of the follow-up from today but since it has not shown up I'm not going to spend all the time re-writing it all again. In short, I took my copy of the lease in to find out where the charges are specified. They are not in the lease. It is a "practice" that the charges are done. All well and good, but that kind of information should be stated in the terms of the lease, otherwise there is no basis for the charges. In the end, I am satisfied with our conversations today. I ended up being right, there was a reason my water would not get hot. I had options opened up to me because the problem was finally identified. I hope it leads to making sure that all maintenance personnel are trained to know what exists in the different buildings. I am just thankful that the young man today did a thorough job in troubleshooting the problem and found the problem. I would write more, but I fear it will be like my last three attempts and it won't show up.To be fair, I wanted to make sure to come and state that I am satisfied with the outcomes and conversation we had today. In fact, I feel I should apologize for interrupting the manager while she was speaking, I just felt so dismissed in the past that I didn't properly mind my manners, so my apologies there! In the end, I will get to enjoy my first hot shower here which I am very much looking forward to.
At first I was really impressed with the apartments, they were really nice and (kind of) reasonably priced. It definitely could have been cheaper because of the location, which is all the way by the airport. My advice is to absolutely not even consider these apartments. First of all, if you don't know what happened in the capital beach neighborhood years back, educate yourself with the history. Everything has gone down hill, there's unkempt trailer parks throughout the area which would be absolutely embarrassing if you lived anywhere near there. Secondly, they will tell you it's a 350 deposit fee and 35 dollars for each application. They'll later increase that price to 400 and 40. If you need a guarantor (their 'fancy' word for co-signer) you also have to pay 40 for their application. Oh, and if you are unable to rent the apartment they will not give you your money back for your applications. I just lost 120 dollars because I was unable to rent there because my financial situation tightened and they refused to refund me. Now, I'm not one to complain about a business too much (my father owns one and I understand how hard it is to own and operate your own business while making everybody happy) but this was by far the worst experience in applying for an apartment I have ever had. Thank the Lord I didn't have to live there! No telling what kind of hell that would be! I highly recommend you do not rent here, the apartments may look nice, the people may act nice also, but when it comes to money they will strip you of however much they can.
Save yourself a lot of time and money, and look elsewhere. The only thing management cares about it getting the most money out of you as possible, however they can. After spending a couple of years here, I have very few positive things to say. The apartments are nice, but not worth what you're charged.
I highly recommend staying away from this Apartment Complex. The management is awful and not accommodating. Good luck trying to get any of your deposit back at the end of your contract too!
