The facilities themselves are relatively nice, but Greystar and the management team is despicable. I've never dealt with a management company that cares this little about its tenants. If anything goes wrong, and it often does, we are met with complete indifference from management. The women that work in the front office are unhelpful and sometimes downright rude. We had an incident in our building two weekends ago where a few tenants' apartments were completely flooded and their furniture and possessions were completely ruined. For 8 hours, tenants in the building called the emergency line over and over again with no answer. ONLY when Denver water was contacted and came to shut off water for the entire building did one of the Greystar employees pay any attention to the crisis at hand, and even then it was only because she was living on site and was personally inconvenienced by the lack of running water. When she finally showed up to deal with the problem, she was extremely rude and unsympathetic, and actually proceeded to storm off in a huff, saying "I'm not dealing with this right now". This was after the tenants complained that no one answered the emergency line for 8 hours while their apartment flooded. She claimed that no one called, which is completely untrue. Not only was this interaction unprofessional, but it was downright disrespectful. We had no running water in our building for a few days. The way Greystar dealt with it? "Just go buy gallons of water at the supermarket and use those." That's it. No other solution or compensation for the before inconvenience was provided. The worst part about this complex, however, is the parking. Every time I leave for work in the morning I breathe a sigh of relief when my car is still in the parking lot. I've been towed TWICE for literally no reason. Both times my car was brought back immediately at no charge. They tow their own tenants with permits for seemingly random reasons and constantly make a big deal about how there is barely enough parking for the tenants. As I'm writing this, there are 4 large storage PODS owned by Greystar taking up an entire row of tenant parking. This is completely inexcusable when limited parking is already a problem, and one they seem to take seriously at that. The kitchen designs are absolutely terrible as well. The drawer placement is god awful and if you're using the dishwasher it's impossible to unload it and put plays in cabinets simultaneously because the dishwasher blocks the cabinets. It's absolutely ridiculous. I have literally nothing good to say about Greystar or the staff and will not be renewing my lease. I will tell everyone I can to stay away from this place and its terrible management.
The front office folks can be on the rude side, but it depends completely on who you get that day, some can be very nice, helpful. The grounds are also hit or miss, there is a small dog park which is great, but many owners let their dogs roam off leash all over the grassy areas between apartments. Not always cleaning up after their pets.
I LOVE living at The Crescent at Cherry Creek! I find the staff to be very helpful and the location couldn't be better...close to everything!! The apartment has been renovated & the layout is amazing!! A great community & great neighbors and my service request are answered fast.
The apartments are very nice and are in good condition, but the management here is TERRIBLE!!!!!!!! I have pretty much nothing good to say about the management team here. They do NOT care about any of their tenants. The water in the building was out for 2 days and their solution was for us to buy water at the grocery store. This was unacceptable. We also had trouble opening a locked door, and when maintenance was requested they instead handed us a paper clip to try and jimmy the lock open ourselves. They are not understanding at all and will not accommodate anything for anyone. Again, horrible management team!
Scum and crooks. Overpriced to say the least.
