We have lived here for almost a year now and i must say we love it. The leasing staff has been awesome to work with as well as the maintenance staff. Great access to all major freeways and a very short drive to almost anywhere in San Diego.
good location, facilities include heated pool and Jacuzzi, exercise room with new equipment. maintenance is ok most of the time, but not without you pushing them, sometimes over and over until they get it right. Garages are not available to 1 bedroom tenants, this was very frustrating. The walls, ceilings and floors all telegraph any neighbor's tapping of kitchen knives, heavy footfalls, and domestic personal disasters. The couple upstairs regularly hurl clothes out the window and scream at each other in Cantonese at midnight. Neighbors drive home in the middle of the night, drunk, and blast their stereos in the parking areas until you get dressed, pound their hood and scream bloody murder. the police DO NOT have automatic access, the gates are closed, they call you to come in. I wonder about the fire department. Management does nothing about parking issues, tries at times to cope with noisy tenants. In general the management is ok, but talk to the boss of the entire complex if you feel jerked around. She is worth her weight in gold. My only really serious disappointment is, if you have a plug-in car like a Volt or Tesla, you are DOA.
Pricey but its quiet and in a safe area to walk around in at night, in a central location with food places two blocks away and you have quick access to freeways. It has a business center, gym, heated pool and jacuzzi and some buildings are pet-friendly. Parking sucks... you are allowed to have 2 cars (one in an assigned place and the other in a first come- first served open parking) If someone parks in your assigned spot, the management does nothing.. even after repeated instances by the same individual!!!! oh and about the open parking spaces... pray that not all apartments are filled when you move in because they're is not enough parking for ALL cars when the complex is at full capacity, which means you sometimes have to park in the street like a block down from your apartment.
Management is just OK - not customer-oriented enough; complaints often go ignored. Place is overpriced. For the price I expect thicker/more quiet walls and floors; gas-fired kitchen; and better appliances. An airport and freeways nearby can create noise, but overall noise ain't bad.
Located north of Montgomery field... a place where there is a lot of air traffic, including lots of helicopters, and not to far from Miramar where Marine jet pilots fly fighter jets. Don't waste your time unless you are hard of hearing, or don't care about noise. Landscaping is nice, that's about the only nice thing here.
