Worst costumer service ever!!! The manager should be fired!! She was useless , abrupt, rude, not helpful just completely horrible and unpleasant !!
I just recently moved from the Village after living there almost a year. The buildings were poorly built as the floors are plywood and not concrete, you can hear everything above you and everything out in the hallways. There are a lot of college students living there which makes the living experience far from pleasant unless you don't mind noise all through the night. The buildings are right on the railroad tracks and will vibrate every time a train goes by which seems to be every half hour. If you have dogs, their dog walks are inside the garage and are filled with pebble rocks and not grass. Also, they only clean them once every other week which can be a joy walking by them when you go to your car. The outside doors and gates a very loud and can be heard from inside the apartments, so anytime someone goes in our out you can hear it. The hallways are inside as well and when people smoke, the smell seems to linger for a good bit of time. The staff are nice and respond to things they can control. Their garage gates break often and it seems to take a week or 2 before they are repaired. We did have a several instances of people partying late at night during the week, the alarms going off a few times which are extremely loud, and a couple of break ends which is odd for an area that doesn't have a lot of crime. The place is okay, I just want to give people an idea of what they are paying for before they move in. I now live in a nice place that cost the same amount and has all the same amenities with a lot less noise and is well kept. Do your research. For the amount they ask in monthly fees, you have a lot of choices.
I live here as well, and while I like my apartment, the other reviews are correct. The train tracks are backed right up to the building & the noise is sooo loud. The hallways are concrete, so if anyone with any type of heel on their shoe walks you can hear the entire trail. The walls are not very thick, I can hear my neighbors next to me & below, playing music. They empty the dumpsters right in front of the resident entrance to the buildings, so there is glass all over the ground in that area. i have been here for a few months & have already decided that I will, most likely, not resign my lease.
