Parked here for the Kenny Chesney Concert. First off this place is not easy to find and the directions don't help. Second it is very tight turns in there which I expected from the previous reviews. My issue with this garage is that after the concert which we didn't get back to our car until 11:30pm and the reservation was until 11:00pm plus 3 hours after the event so no issues there until we and everyone tried to leave. The line was backup to the 3rd floor due to people not being let out. They were trying to make everyone pay extra money due to it being passed 11:00pm. Everyone pled their case with the lady but she was not very nice and was not going to allow anyone out. Luckily the gate must have broke or something cause then we were all being let out. I will not park here again. Why offer a additional 3 hours after the event if you are not going to honor it. Bait and switch if you ask me.
Beautiful place to reside, unfortunately really hard to get to know your own neighbors or people that reside here. Discovered from one of the tenants how easy it was to falsify their image and tax returns in order to qualify to reside in the complex with a 1 year lease. Disappointing to know that such a huge elite place would so easily overlook proper employment verification and authenticity. I guess the desperation to rent out a 2 bedroom at approximately 2200 p/ month presumes more importance than the safety of the other residents that accommodate the place. New tenants are also not prestigious, in fact more so, soon to be discovered or newly recruited drug dealers trying to evade the constant worry about the authorities being easily able to raid a single family home versus a huge downtown complex. Tip to the lessor: take another look at your recent lessees and verify tax and employment as well as credit sources, best if done directly with the IRS, take a even closer look at new tenants from 12/01/2013. This is the best tip I can give.
My husband and I chose this building over several others in the South Loop because we like the "feel" here, the diversity, the quiet and clean halls, the in-building 24/7 gym, shared public space in the lounge and business center and the location, location, location. We have been delighted with the Concierge Staff, the Maintenance people and the Leasing Agents. Move-in was smooth, we enjoy the space inside our apartment and just can't get over the views, grocery stores, close CTA and the park at our front door.
I moved to Chicago and I found a excellent place to live on Park Michigan Apartments. Since I made the first contact by email they were professional and made easy all the paper work. The apartments are near from everything and the neighborhood has a lot of interesting places, restaurants, stop buses, train station and parks. I strongly recommend this place if you are looking for where to live in Chicago.
I was really looking forward to stay at this place in the beginning. However my plan was to stay for 3 months and I told them about this on phone and they said yes, it's ok, but when I finally got there, IT'S NOT OK anymore. They told me I need to lease at least 9 months! Then I needed to spent more money on hotel to have more time to find other apartment.
