i never lived in a house where there is uncontrollable insects not just one kind, the many types I have never seen in my entire life. i rented first floor one bedroom with my husband and 1 year old son. since we just moved in it was horrible experience. neighbor upstairs annoying, have a water leakage 4 times, had stuff damaged. so many spiders, sowbugs, centepedes, to name a few. plastered every opening I could find. heled very little. It's been a horrible experience. I HATED HATED the house, the only thing goo d about it is the area. quite and livable but the apartments apparently not.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. So far living at the hillwood has been HORRIBLE! I'm 7months on my 1 year lease, and I can't wait for it to finish. The apartments are old and not maintained like they should , maintenance is THE WORST PART, it took them 2 months to turn on the heat to my apartment. Spent a couple nights freezing. I was running back from Washington gas and maintenance to get it turned on . And finally they get the heat turned on. 2 days after running it, the vents make a loud the thumping sound. I called them back to look into it. The first guy that came by tried to bullshit me saying it's normal. So far maintenance has stopped by more then 6 times and made 2 big holes in the walls, saying they fixed it . BUT it still makes that damn noise, I haven't had a good night sleep for the last month. Maintenance is very unqualified for there positions. MANAGMENT IS NO HELP. Stay away from Hillwood and stoneridge. You will regret living here.

BY FAR THE WORSE MANAGMENT STAFF AROUND. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. You're better off paying a tad bit more and getting a better place. Poorly managed, guest parking is impossible but don't worry, you dont need any friends, the huge rats that are always around the trash disposal are very friendly. If your car ever breaks down and you get a rental, dont even bother going home after 10 o'clock... YOU WILL GET TOWED. They only give out 15 parking passes even though they own plenty of parking lots... in regards to the apartments, they are old and doors are all very low quality, not to mention that the only thing they appear to do when the last tenant leaves is paint over the walls. their "gym" is gross, not very complete either. You pay an "amenities fee" of $400 when you sign the lease but you have to pay $5 per guest every time you want to bring someone to the pool or gym. Very bad experience. I could go on and on... I guess you get what you pay for. lesson learned.

May be cheaper than everywhere else but you get cheap living. The apartments are falling apart and when you call maintenance, they will show up eventually and just do a patch job. I had water leaking from my bathroom ceiling and all they did was apply sealant to some holes in my drywall and call it a day. I still have water leaking and they keep saying they fixed the issue. The management is horrible. They online account to view your bills and pay them has been down for 3 months and they are in no hurry to fix it. And the best part is you pay for an apartment and get a parking pass but that's kind of useless because there is like 30 spots for 40 apartments. 10 people are screwed each day and have to fight for parking on the streets which if you don't get a spot by 6pm you don't get to park your car and figure something out or just risk your car getting towed. Just pay a little more for better living and don't stay here. Can't wait to leave when my lease is up.

There is only one thing positive about living at this complex! The shuttle bus stops me off across the street from my job. Other than that I would suggest you continue your search for living accommodations. Where do I begin so that you can live a day in my shoes. Why aren't there designated parking spaces for tenants and then for guests? I am a govt employee so numerous times I have a govt vehicle or rentals. Why do I have to be scared that a govt vehicle driven by your tenant will be towed?! Well it happened! $180 fee to pick it up from A-1 towing. Of course we know that these companies are all about getting those tow fees and are like scavengers! But the unprofessional staff working in Hillwood office is just as bad. When I call to voice my concern, I was told to call back when manager is on shift and hung up on without a polite have a good day or goodbye. Now should I tell you about the 5 mice traps I keep in different locations in and around the kitchen to make sure I don't see these nasty things running around? I think you get the picture. Right now they are in the process of redoing the entire complex but will be starting off with Stonebridge. Think this is a great idea, but if you don't fix the problem, it will be a waste of money! My lease is not up until July, it is now November, but I have been looking since signing my lease in April. I can't wait to leave!! Enjoy your stay if you still decide to rent here. Best of luck!
