I lived in the Dill Building this year, which is next to the American Tobacco Center, shares its' amenities and is run by the same management company. I'm so glad I moved out. The apartment had very thin walls, windows offered no protection to the night clubs, fire station and noisy neighbors. The amenities may sound nice, until you go up to the dirty pool, sit on a broken chair of the sun deck and try to use a broken elliptical. The management company, Plus Management, will try to cheat you out of as much money as possible. They tried to cheat my neighbor out of ridiculous "normal wear and tear" fees. It's best just to rent a house, this entire apartment complex is a scam. Here are some other things they won't tell you when you sign: - To sign up for HD DirectTV you essentially have to pay for the entire cost, no upgrade, and the Dill Building will not refund what you pay for basic cable. - The pool opens late summer and closes when it's still 100 degrees outside. - You have to pay $20 a month for trash, no exceptions. - The elevators and garage door constantly break down. - They only have electric heat, which is very expensive when the enormous and old windows offer no insulation. - Even though they have an on site management company, don't expect any customer service, they are only there for your money.
