Leasing stuff have lots of issues, some doesn't even know whats the policy on additional deposit, first day I arrived I had to wait over an hour just to get papers with my two kids, and even after signing papers I didn't get my Lease Agreement, It was New Year so I thought maybe it will take couple days but it took around three weeks. Agent who came in with us for checking procedures noticed that balcony door needs to be fixed, two month passed still have problems with door lock. We moved from Chicago Illinois and I should say I never had problem with hot water, It takes usually 12-15 minutes to run out of hot water here if you taking shower, it takes less if someone using hot water for different purposes. I assume we have 38 gallon boiler in our apartment, we have two kids and one have to wait after first one uses bath for about 30-40 min. Maybe it is considered Luxury if you have to wait for a hot water, different state different norms, Amli at Milton Park is among of the so called Luxury Apartments. I had this notice from FedEx saying I have package at Leasing office so I went there same day, although I was told there was nothing for me, next time when I went there to pay for my rent it appeared that there was a package.
After extensive research for over 4 months of all apartment communities in the surrounding area from the Perimeter to Alpharetta and everything in-between, we found AMLI Milton Park to be an excellent choice. We have lived here for 6 months and absolutely love it! The minute we walked through the door of our beautifully decorated and spacious apartment, we knew we had found our new home. Our unit was well-prepared and ready for move-in day with the staff as well as our new neighbors giving us a warm welcome. This office staff is outstanding and completely at your service addressing any concern immediately as well as coordinating fun and engaging activities for this community. In addition, the maintenance staff is excellent and "top notch" with quick response to any repairs within your unit or outside the buildings. We highly recommend AMLI Milton Park not only for the convenient location for shopping, work and leisure activities, but because the entire staff makes a point to know you personally so you truly feel a part of this community and not just another "tenant". Add the beautiful landscaping, tree lined and peaceful lake setting with access to the Big Creek Greenway and this community becomes the "best kept secret" in Alpharetta!
Unfortunately, my experience with this apartment complex was not as good as anticipated. When I moved out, I paid what was due, turned in my keys and signed the proper paperwork. The staff in the leasing office lost my paperwork and a barrage of emails and phone calls ensued to get me to re-sign the documents. This has been extremely inconvenient and makes me question the accuracy of the Milton Park leasing system. It also makes one question if what I re-signed matched what was originally signed upon move out. Besides the lost paperwork issue, the pest issues were unbearable. I had a line of ants going through my apartment from the bathroom, through the kitchen and out the front door. I fought the pests my entire 6 months in the apartment. I also had numerous service calls that were also very inconvenient. The double doors never locked correctly and blew open in the middle of the night once. It was noted in a routine fire inspection and when I moved in but never addressed. It is a beautiful area and the amenities were nice.
I stayed at Amli at Milton Park for about 2 years, recently I relocated and left the apartment complex. I was also an Amli resident in Texas as well. It is the only apartment complex/company that provides a consistent experience! But to focus on Amli at Milton Park the ladies at the front are all wonderful, very respectful and courteous with every request. When it came to work orders or needing assistance it was handled very swiftly. Changing filters, light bulbs, etc. The apartment complex is very quite, no crazy neighbors, and everything is always accessible: restaurant on the corner, dry cleaning, pool, and exercise equipment. They go above and beyond to accommodate, towards the end of my lease I had scheduled a formal move-out date, however my new location was not ready in time and management was able to remain flexible with me and extend my move-out date as opposed to kicking me out on our agreed upon date. Thank you, truly life savers! Special call out to Carlos from the maintenance team, this individual went above and beyond his normal daily duties in helping me move out and he should be highly recognized at Milton Park. I cannot thank him enough!!! Overall great experience, really never had any issues. I would definitely check out the location, speak with the folks at the front office and see whether this place is a good fit for you. :) I am sure you will be convinced quite easily. :)
I've been living here for about 3 years now and I liked it at the beginning. Helpful staff, quick maintenance. Pretty Property. But lately it's been a bad experience. And today was the straw that broke the camel's back. Not only is the fake cheap "wood Looking" laminate peeling up on my kitchen floor, and the pool is closed on a regular basis for maintenance, but I put a service request in for my toilet running earlier today. I don't mess around with a running toilet, so as soon as it started and I couldn't fix it, called the office. I patiently waited ALL DAY and no one came. I woke up to use the bathroom a little while ago and alas, toilet has flooded EVERYWHERE! Carpet's surely will need to be replaced. I'm so happy there are no damage to MY belongings. I've since called Emergency maintenance a few times and no response. I'm a sitting duck here in an inch of water. AMLI better be paying for these damages, because I'm surely not. Huge inconvenience. They have gotten slow and lazy getting things done around here. If I can't terminate my lease early, I'll be counting down the days where my lease is up because I'm outta here. In addition, I also no longer have important mail sent to my address here. I get my paycheck and bills and packages and such by snail mail and they are all sent to my parents' house in the next town over. I've lost too may things in the mail to count while living here. Only reason it did not get 1 star is because I used to like living here...
