Out of the high yoga studio saturation in and around Boston, I have been most impressed with Baptiste and more specifically, Samuel's classes. The other teachers seem like newbies still trying to find their voice. To be honest, I find it a bit boring and not challenging. As a more advanced yogi in an effort to always expand my practice, Samuel's advanced practice and overall alignment cues are spot on and so fantastic. His ongoing commentary during class - while charismatic and engaging - is having me look at my practice in a whole new light and for that, I will keep coming back to Baptiste and suggest it to friends and family.

Really like this studio. The teachers are nice and it has turned me onto an exercising experience that I actually enjoy and also works on my mind as well as body. Heavy I know... The cons: Because its so hot when it gets crowded its uncomfortable and smelly and you don't have the space to truly practice. It's also expensive, I can probably get 3 months at a decent - good gym (w/out pool) for unlimited month of yoga. They do single classes and the first month is ultra-cheap so worth a try in my mind.

Instructors are excellent and friendly. Great mind and body experience. A must for all.

This is my favorite place in the city to do yoga. I've been to a bunch of other studios but I always feel like I would have received a better workout at Baptiste. That said, I like my classes challenging. Bring a towel for your mat, at least a liter of water, and a change of clothes because you will sweat SO much it will look like you just jumped in a pool. It's true that each teacher has their own style but I pretty much like everyone, especially Gregor. I'm so glad he's back!
