The amenities are great, and I like my own room and bathroom as well as separate leases. However everything else sucks.. The dryer has been broken since I've moved in on August. After we have told maintenance. My bed board is broken and the doors don't shut properly without locking them. The parking deck seems as if it's going to collapse, the hallways are filthy and look ghetto because of constantly broken door handles to the deck too. The internet here randomly shuts down, which is huge because this complex caters to those in school and is frustrating. This week, people such as maintenance have been coming into our apartment, some were properly trained, others just come on into the apartment with a brief knock. We have gotten a new roommate without any real notice, so we didn't find out until we got home from work or just heard them inside. So I haven't felt any privacy lately. It's not terribly priced, but I feel as if it's over priced from my personal experience. I think the biggest annoyance this year has been the closing of busbee due to the football games that have begun this year, which is a real pain when you're trying to come home and have to take a 15 minute detour to cross the street every Saturday. A buddy of mine moved in initially, but they were moved multiple times due to a flood or some kind of issue, which was pretty annoying. I wouldn't recommend living here for this much money. The rent is going up even more, which is crazy, and they don't lock in your rate for already being a resident which is crap, so you'll have to pay more to stay. They sent out lease renewals after only 2 or 3 months of living here which is ridiculous too. If it were cheaper here is stay, but not for this price.

uPointe Kennesaw has the potential to be an excellent living experience. The location is great, the apartments are laid out nicely, and the amenities are convenient. However, they do not fill in maintenance orders swiftly, nor do they care for any kind of compensation for inconveniencing their residents (we have mold in our laundry room they're playing off as not a big deal), and their staff doesn't seem interested in the residents. My roommate and I attended one of their movie under the stars nights, and the staff took all the front row seats, helped themselves to concessions without offering any of the residents help, and were loud and obnoxious for the duration we were there. I ended up leaving early because they staff ruined their own event. We pay a great deal to live here if you consider the amount they make per apartment unit. There is no reason why we should have moved into a dirty apartment, with a broken washer, mold, and white paint patches all over the wall, and none of it has been dealt with in the now 3 months we've been here. The only saving grace is the convenience of the location, and that my friends all signed leases here too, which none of us are renewing. They've already sent me 6 emails and texts begging me to do so, again, in three months. If they took care of their facility like they try to get people to renew, people would be lining up day one and renewing without having to ask.

What did I like about it? I didn't. It's way overpriced for the bs I've had to put up with. From broken furniture when I moved in, to paint all over the floors and nonexistent wifi. The costumer service here is very poor. You'll hear that there's nothing the management or office can do about any of your problems. They say they'll do a deep clean before you move on but unless that means foot prints from the dirty shoes of the workers and torn up furniture, you can forget about clean. The amenities are nice but the apartment is what I'm living in and so far, I've been very disappointed and it's only been a month. How embarrassing.

U Pointe Kennesaw is a terrible place to live! I moved in on August 1st 2015 and we had a bug infestation! It took three entire weeks before anything was actually done to take care of the problem. There was 100+ roaches in the room, GROSS!! Management was not helpful and the American Campus Community corporate office was not helpful either! My suggestion to all who are considering U Pointe is to stay away!!!! There are numerous other off campus options that offer better amenities and better customer service!

Ok yes Upointe has wonderful amenities. A nice volleyball court, a great pool area, the clubhouse, and even the appliances in the rooms are nice & up to date. But a property is way more than amenities. Living here at UPointe for the past year was one of the WORST experiences I’ve ever had. I put in maintenance orders that were either completed after 3 months, or just never completed at all. And when they came to fix our AC, the maintenance man used one of our kitchen knives to break open the lock to get to the AC unit. He should’ve had a key! There’s dog shit everywhere, so don’t even think about walking in the grass, and the wifi is basically nonexistent. The hallways are super loud, the front office staff is completely unprofessional, and the managers won’t return your calls. And apparently once you move out you will be charged $150 for a new mattress, and $75 for a deep carpet clean. I wouldn’t suggest this property to ANYONE.
