The staff is very friendly. That's really the only pro that I have. The units or the building in general is nothing like the models they show you. The hallways are dull and the carpets in the hallways are nasty. The apartment itself is ok, but you can tell they don't take pride in the renovation for the next tenant. There were a lot of issues at move in for me. The sidewalks are not plowed unless you live near the front of the community. The garbage Is horrendous. It's sprawled all over the place. Again, this is only if you live in the rear of the community. Reminds me of a dump. Parking is terrible. Doesnt seem to be enough for the amount of tenants in the community. Forget it if you want to have family over for the holidays unless they come early and oh yeah, they have to leave early to so they won't get towed. You can get parking passes for guests, but not sure how many at one time. I truly understand now why the rent is so low. Don't think I'll be renewing when the time comes.
This is literally the worst place I have ever lived, and I lived in student housing for 4 years. Any time there is any maintenance issue (the building is old, so that is often) be prepared to wait weeks-months to have then resolved. The people in the office will straight up lie to you too get out of their maintenance guaranty starting if it's not addressed within 24 hours you get money off your rent. I hurt my foot on a broken parking brick and it took them over a month of me constantly nagging them to fix it. My air conditioner broke at the beginning of the summer and they finally replaced it a month later with a broken one (it was brand new so THAT wasn't their fault) and by the time they replaced it again it was cold outside. They do not clean the pool. I'm not sure they are aware of what chlorine is, but the pool was green and the hot tub was black. The sauna was broken for the entire 1.5 years we lived there. There is a huge turnover of staff, and they lie to your face to try to cover themselves. The entire winter they didn't empty the dog outpost it refill the bags. And apparently they don't own a snowplow. They take no pride in their establishment and it shows. This place is a joke. That being said. It is well insulated, heat bills are low. Good water pressure. Decent space for the price.
I, my wife and my 6 years old daughter lived 1 year and 8 m in the village. I can tell you that is the worst place I have ever lived in my life. They do not clean corridors and staircases. Moreover I think for the last 12 months my neighbors smoke marijuana and no one from the management did anything for work out the problem
I've been here for 5 months and I have the worst neighbors. They play loud music and loud tv. They also smoke so much that it comes into my apartment! I don't even smoke or play anything loud. Management does nothing about it. You all terrible people can live with yourselves.
The pros: Everyone is very nice, and it is a very quiet complex. You wont be complaining your neighbors are too loud or rude. The Cons: The entrances to the buildings don't close entirely or lock, and when they do get closed, they are difficult to get open. The doors into actual units are fine, just the building doors are broken. Maintenance can take a while to fix an issue, and are not the cleanest. They left lots of debris after fixing a leak in my ceiling that I told them about 3 weeks in a row before they arrived to fix it. The units are smaller, and the kitchen is non-existent. You get 2 feet of counter space. The Hot tub isn't hot, and the Sauna is broken, for over a year, and they havent fixed it. Overall, they just dont seem to care about upkeep, more just keeping the appearance of a nice place for new people. Once you look closer, it's not a nice place.
