I'm subleasing my room in a two bedroom, one bath apartment. The complex is less than a mile from campus - you can walk there quickly or take one of the UT shuttles. The room is available from May 20 to July 31. You would be sharing with one wonderful, clean and quiet female UT grad student (ladies only please). The room is furnished with a built-in dresser and desk and has one HUGE closet. I can leave my bed if necessary. The apartment has been recently updated with wood floors in the common areas and carpet in the bedrooms. The complex has a pool (totally a necessity in the hot Austin summer) and on-site coin-operated laundry. It's small and relatively quiet, but still great for socializing. The location is great! There is a very close bus stop so you can go downtown easily. Also about a mile away from an HEB (you can get there very easily by bus as well). The complex is across the street from a Jimmy Johns, Wells Fargo and convenience store. If you're commuting downtown or to North Austin, the complex is very convenient to 35. I would prefer to rent out the room for the entire period, but I'm willing to rent for either summer session. I pay $650/month but I'm very willing to negotiate.
