About This Apartment
YOU: are an easy-going fun-loving girl that wants to live the GOOD LIFE in Seaport for the summer, maybe longer. If you have a decent sized flat screen that you are willing to put in the living room that ups your chances BIG TIME as our living room TV is leaving. But certainly no deal breaker as maybe we can all chip in and buy a decent size TV for living room. All the other community stuff (couches, coffee tables, etc.) is staying.
US: we are 2 hard working professionals, BOTH GUYS, 29 and 30, and one of our roommates just graduated and is ready to move out, he can potentially move out as late as end of June but your odds of getting in are better if you are able to move in sooner. We almost had a girl that is a friend move in earlier in the year, but the student decided he wanted to stay thru May. So we've both had girl roommates in the past and are comfortable with, and even prefer it because, hey, we're guys and don't mind having you and your girlfriends around. Not to be overly picky, but would prefer that you don't have a boyfriend that will be at our place all the time, at least not going into this....if you bring a guy home we could care less (good for you actually), if you meet a guy and get serious no worries, just a preference for the start. In general we are very respectful of eachothers space and spend a good amount of time out on the town, traveling, or in our rooms. We keep the common areas clean.
THE PLACE: Is sick. You can see the awesome view from our unit and we are lucky to have it as many units here have crappy views. Also it's one of only five 3BRs in the whole complex so we're getting the best prices in the whole place! You can't really see it too well from the pics, but we are right next to and overlook the roof deck, and you can be out there from our place in about 30 seconds. It has tables for hanging out with friends and cushioned beach chairs to lay out and get some sun. Plus you can hear the music from Bank of America Pavilion concerts from there. As you can see all the good bars/restaurants are right below us. You are about 15-20 min walk from south station, right on the silver line which makes getting to/from airport super cheap and easy, a $5-$10 cab to just about anywhere in Boston.Your room is very large (the middle sized room of the 3 in the unit) there is a bathroom right next to your room that you would have to share with me (I'm in it 15 min a day tops).
OTHER AMENITIES: 24 hour state-of-the-art sports club highlighting 4,000 square feet of cardio and free weights. The Lounge features a 50 inch plasma television, an enormous fully applianced entertaining kitchen with island and bar. Business center features brand new Dell computers with printer, fax, and scanner. Fedex supplies and daily newspapers are always available. Community room, business center, lounge and conference room all have wireless internet. Concierge staff is onsite 24/7
EXTRA BACKGROUND AND OTHER DETAILS: You would have to take over the lease but its not a big deal at all....it's exactly what I did back in December...I took over a guy's lease which went thru February...and then loved it here so much I decided to sign the next year's lease. It's REALLY easy to re-sign over the sublease, it can be done over and over actually. So, if it's a good fit for you then great, stay as long as you want. If it's not then you would have to make sure somebody signs it over again. This place gets a ton of interest any time an ad is posted for it so it's easy to get it filled if you wanna leave. It's done thru the leasing office so everything is legit and simple. The $1300 covers rent, heat, and hot water. On top of that is just cable/internet and electricity. If you are coming from Southie there are southie resident permit parking spots 10 min walk away so you could park for free (I did that for about the last 5 months). I am now doing reverse commute parking which is underground here and is $135 a month. Full time is underground parking here is closer to $200. Dogs are welcome here but there is a small fee, I can look into it if you have one. No cats as I am allergic. Don't try to negotiate price even tho it's a sublease, not gonna happen! Whenever you move in will be pro-rated for that portion of the month, we can pro-rate utilities also.
