Hello. I am looking at renting out 1 of my bedrooms in my townhome in East Austin. The room will be available June 1st (or later if needed). The townhome is located in East Austin on 12th St. It's a very nice modern townhome built in 2008. The bedroom is located downstairs on the opposite end of the house (my master bedroom) which makes it more private. The room is 11'x14' with a closet, large windows and sun/moon window. There is a hallway restroom and utility closet by the bedroom.

Rent is $650 per month with 1 month deposit required (for last 30 days with notice). Bills usually run about $100 per month (utilities, gas, cable, high speed internet). I usually have the renter pay that in advance so at time of move out there is no money owed.

NO PETS please. I have been pet free since day 1 and would prefer to keep it that way.

About me. I'm a 33 year old Hispanic, working professional here in Austin. It would be great to consider someone with the same lifestyle. I work Monday- Thursday till 6:00PM, off at 12PM on Fridays. I normally hang out during the week at home and enjoy my weekends out and about around Austin. Most of my extra curricular activities go on outside of the house. As a typical Austinite, I get out for some live music, festivals, BBQ's, sporting events. I do not have any kids running around the house or crazy exgirlfriends beating down my door. I have a girlfriend who stays with me from time to time. I am usually call it a night by 11PM or 12.

I have family that drop by from time to time to come visit but other than that, no couch crashers. A friend may be in town as well but will occupy my spare bedroom for a night.

There is no "contract" to sign. Most of my previous renters have been friends in between apartments/houses so with the deposit paid, last month rent was covered.
