The Cottage@Peabody (as I affectionately call my house) is a five bedroom home
that offers accommodations to typically young professionals including post
docs, graduate students, med students doing rotations, and persons in
transition. The age range usually falls between late twenties to early
thirties.
This is a large room located on the top floor and shares a bathroom with one
other person. This room has a King size bed, comes with bedding/linen, a
dresser, lots of closet space, an additional space for storage and a large
window facing the east that fills the room with sun light. The room also has a
huge 42inch HD television with DVD and cable. The house is located in the
Manor Park area of Washington, DC near Takoma Park and Fort Toten. The nearest
metros are a short 15-20 minute walk away. The house is in between Fort Toten
and Takoma Park metros. If safety is your concern, then this is your place.
The neighborhood is quiet, friendly, and ideal if you need to walk back home
late. The police station is eight blocks away, and the patrol cars are often
seen patrolling the area.
