Visiting DC? Conducting job interviews? I am looking for someone to rent one
bedroom in a two-bedroom penthouse apartment at The Allegro apartment complex
in Columbia Heights while I am out of the country. Rate flexible for however
long you wish to stay between May 30 and June 9.
The apartment is less than a five-minute walk to the Columbia Heights Metro.
Buses 52, 53, 54 stop right outside the building, and the S-buses are only
several minutes' walk away on 16th St.
There is a Giant, Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, yoga studio, and many restaurants
and bars in the area.
A little over a mile to the National Zoo and Rock Creek Park trails.
Other neighborhoods close by include: U Street, Mt. Pleasant, Adams Morgan,
Petworth
You would stay with a couple who live in the master bedroom. Both are
30-something lawyers with the federal government who are laid back and
friendly.
