I am a 29 year old female looking for a professional female/male between the
ages of 26 and 34 to share my 1300 sq ft two bedroom apartment starting July
1st (will be available as early as June 1) for a one year minimum. My roommate
of four years is leaving Manhattan to go to grad school. The apartment is a
very large two bedroom two bath in a 24-hour doorman building on East 23rd
near 2nd Ave. The building has friendly doormen, elevators, responsive
maintenance staff, 24- hour laundry, and a rooftop deck. The apartment has
hardwood floors and central air. I don't want to move out because it would be
impossible to rent something similar for what our lease is presently.
Your room is 10 x 17 feet and has its own bathroom with tub and shower. There
is a huge closet (about 7.5 feet wide) in your room with hanging space and two
built-in shelves plus half of a linen closet as well as half of a large closet
off the living area for coats, etc. The kitchen is a separate from the living
room. My roommate has a white IKEA Expedit 5 x 5 cube wall system on one wall
of her room that she will leave if you would like as well as a queen bed.
These will be removed if you do not want them.
Rent does not include electric, cable/internet. There is a grocery store
across the street and a CVS on the block. I have a Pomeranian so you must love
dogs! One month's rent and security deposit up front before moving in.
