About Capitol Hill Stay

Capitol Hill Stay (CHS), a small, locally owned business, has been provided furnished housing on Capitol Hill for over six years. CHS strives to provide an alternative to typical bland corporate housing.

CHS is a small, local business competing against the major national chain housing providers. These multi-billion dollar corporations have exclusive deals with government travel systems and unlimited advertising and lobbying budgets.

CHS does not have these advantages.

Since CHS is a small local business we appreciate your business very much and we do all we can to have better maintenance, customer service, and customer relations.

CHS' owner and property/maintenance manager both on the Hill, within blocks of all CHS properties. We are not a management company - CHS owns all properties listed on this website, so you deal directly with the owner.

CHS prices are 40% less than those of our closest competitors, and less than half of a stay in an area hotel.

We keep paperwork to a minimum - the application and rental agreement are each one page. We don't require a cash deposit (instead, we take a credit card number as deposit, as a hotel would). The entire process can be done by fax and email.

CHS does rent long term. There may be a price reduction for long term rentals, usually around 10%. Please inquire for details.

Note: CHS has provided for free or reduced membership in Zipcar.
