Looking for a roommate for a great house in inner SE Division/Hawthorne area. The room is a converted attic and is quite large with large closet, 3 sky lights, carpet, and lots of space. It is only available for 1 person. The room is upstairs. On the main floor is the shared kitchen and bath. There is a large dry basement with washer / dryer and small amount of storage space.
The house is in an awesome quiet family neighborhood. It has a porch, back deck with BBQ and small garden. There is always street parking, also 2 blocks from bus line (4) and very close to others. Lots of shops, restaurants, bars close by.
I am looking for a quite woman who is responsible, good with kids, and tidy. There is only one bathroom in the house, so I am only looking for 1 tenant. I would prefer no pets.
About me: I am a 40 year old male high school teacher with a 8 yr old daughter her part time 4 lb. chi-poodle. Her bedtime is 8:30 during the school year and 9:30 during the summer, so the house needs to be relatively quite after those hours on the days she is here. I coach and play ultimate, am active and keep a pretty busy social schedule. I am easy going, a non-smoker, tidy, and in the evenings I enjoy good conversation, books, movies, music and food.
The rent is $650 + 1/3 utilities. First and last required. Contact me and we can discuss lease and deposit.
The loft is available July 5th on a month to month basis.
