The Apartment:

The bedroom for rent is a converted sunroom (unfurnished), which will be available for move-in on Saturday, June 2, 2012. You would be taking over the rest of my lease and are free to renew when it ends in November. Rent will be $1,040 per month plus utilities. The other bedroom will be occupied by a working professional in his twenties.

Location:

Location does not get any better than this. Very well connected to public transport: 5 minute walk from the Gallery Place/Chinatown Metro stop (Red and Green/Yellow lines) and about 13 minutes walking to Metro Center (Blue/Orange lines). The Circulator Bus stops right outside the building as well. The area is full of bars, restaurants, museums and galleries, and the National Mall is a 15 minute walk away. There is a CVS in the building next door and a 24-hour Safeway three blocks away.

All the fixings of a luxury apartment building, including: in-unit washer/dryer; dishwasher; gym; rooftop pool (open Memorial to Labor Day); rooftop patio with grills; dry cleaner/convenience store in the building, 24 front desk. Indoor parking is also available if you are bringing a car.
