We are three 20-something professional and political women looking to sublet our small spare bedroom to an intern this summer. We prefer females (sorry gentleman!), and are looking for someone who is clean, responsible and respectful. We would also ask that you help in the household cleaning (dusting, vacuuming, taking out trash). We all drink but we don't throw raging parties at the house, so we ask that if you go home at night that you don't bring the party home with you. That said, we are all pretty easy going and friendly.

The room is small, about 90 square feet, but it has a full closet. We have a dresser and a side table in there. You would be on your own for finding a bed or futon and we ask that if you do put a bed in there that it's a twin size only. You would be sharing the downstairs bathroom with one other roommate and would have access to all the other common areas of the house (living room, dining room, library, and kitchen).

The house located in the Eastern Market neighborhood steps away from bars, restaurants and the market on the weekend. This would be an ideal location for someone interning on or around the Hill this summer. We're about a 20 min walk to the Capitol and less than 5 minute walk from the Eastern Market (blue/orange) metro station.

There is also a cat living in the house. Very friendly and very cute but she hates other animals.

Rent is a flat $750 per month and that includes all utilities as well as cable and internet. We are ideally looking for someone who can commit to a full three months with start and end dates being flexible. Pictures available upon request.
