I'm moving out of my apartment on June 1st and looking for someone to sublet my room. It's part of a 3 bedroom apartment in the lower east side in alphabet city right by tompkins square park. I'm looking for someone to start subletting as early as June 1st but if you can't until mid June, that is okay too. The lease is until July 31st but you could probably work out something with management to extend the lease or renew the lease if you like the apartment.

The apartment is on the first floor, which is super convenient, and the building has a security entrance with a code to get in the front door. There is a washer and dryer right in the apartment, which is hard to come by in NYC. The apartment is quite spacious compared to apartments around the east village and has beautiful exposed brick throughout. You will be sharing the kitchen and living room space with two other very friendly roommates -- both with 9-5 jobs during the week. The room you will be subletting has a door leading to a deck, which is a nice addition to the apartment.

The apartment is in a great location, about a two minute walk to Tompkins Square Park. It's just a walk to NYU (I am an NYU student myself), Union Square, and Washington Square Park. There is a deli located right next to the apartment building that is open 24/7 and is extremely convenient.
