Hi there!
I'm looking to find a female roommate to share my apartment! (sorry, no guys!) My current roommate has decided to pursue some traveling dreams (but can serve as a glowing reference for living with me). You would have your own un- furnished bedroom and bathroom. The room is a really great size (my roommate fit a dresser, armoire, two nightstands, and a queen sized bed in there without it being crowded) and the walk in closet is awesome.
Sorry if this post is a little long, just want to make sure I cover everything for you!
$575/month all bills paid includes:
-rent (your own huge room, two closets, bathroom) -electricity -water -trash -gas -private wireless internet (I don't have cable because when I did have it, I NEVER used it. I'm not a huge tv person, and when I do watch it, I use netflix or hulu. You're more than welcome to use my netflix account too.) -washer/dryer Pictures below:

You must be okay with dogs, as I have a badass dachshund (pictured below) who loves EVERYONE and everything. That being said, a second pet deposit has already been paid, so if you have a non-agressive breed dog (apt rules), that is house-trained, and doesn't bark a lot, he/she is more than welcome. My dog's best dog-friend is a huge lab, so you don't have to worry about your dog being too big. If you do have a dog, I am more than willing to help care for it and stuff if you need to leave town or just get stuck at work too long. But that being said, don't worry about having to care for my dog. My job allows me the ability to let him out during the day, and he has plenty of people willing to care for him if/when I leave town.
The apartment is on the second floor of the building. As far as furniture and stuff goes, I already have a dining room table, a great huge couch, coffee table, chair, etc so there's not really room for extra furniture in the living room/dining area, but if there's something you really want to bring, we can definitely discuss. I am not opposed to getting rid of some stuff to accommodate you. I also have all the kitchen stuff your heart could desire, and you are welcome to use any and everything, but of course you can bring whatever you want as well. The room will be unfurnished (BUT, my roommate is looking to sell almost all her furniture and stuff for cheap, so if you're lacking something, let me know!)
ALL deposits have already been paid, so no need to worry about that. The only extra cost upon move-in would be $50 to add your name to the lease. That is what the apartment complex charges, and this part is not negotiable. YOU MUST BE ADDED TO THE LEASE. You must be financially responsible and able to prove this to the apt complex or have a co-signer. I have never been late on rent or bills, and I don't want to ever have to worry about that happening. (The current lease lasts until April 2013)
Anyway, here's a little about me and what i'm looking for in a roommate:
- I'm 24 years old, and as mentioned before, I have a dog who I love with all my heart! I'm pretty active and I love doing anything outside (swimming/kayaking are my favorite things!) I'm super creative/crafty and am always working on fun new projects. - I work full time (8:30-5 m-f) as a nanny to the most awesome baby boy EVER, and I'm also working on my second degree/ taking night classes 3 nights a week. While I LOVE to go out and have fun on the weekends, I'd really like someone who is respectful of the fact that I do have to wake up at 7am every day during the week. Of course you can stay up as late as you want, just be respectful about noise. - I'm super clean/tidy, and am looking for someone who is clean as well. Most importantly: keeping the common areas clean. I'm not your mom, so you can put your own dishes away, clean up your own spills, etc. - I love to drink and have a good time, but don't want a "college" environment...aka not drinking so much you vomit all over the kitchen. been there, seen that. haha. - I'm super friendly, but also definitely appreciative of my "me" time....so don't be offended if I don't want to chill with you all the time, or if I don't want to talk to you about our lives for hours on end. It won't be anything against you personally, I swear. - While I usually go to my best friend's house to hang out, I do like to have people over occasionally. We have fantastic neighbors, and they like to stop by from time to time. (I have a boyfriend, but he's stationed in Virginia, so you don't have to worry about him being around all the time, because he only gets to visit here about twice a year.) That being said, I will always let you know when people are coming over "Hey so and so wants to come over for dinner tomorrow" or "hey my bf is visiting this weekend" and I would like the same courtesy given to me. I'm not home a whole lot anyway, and obviously I won't care at all if/when you have people over, but it is nice to know when someone else is going to be around. - NO CIGARETTE SMOKERS as I am allergic to cigarette smoke. 420 friendly if you keep it on the porch. Not acceptable indoors. absolutely NO other drugs. If you think this would be a good fit, please let me know! It will be available June 1st. (Possibly a few days sooner, but right now, that's a good date) The complex is called Missions Hills if you wanna look it up online.
