Hi! I am in a two-bedroom apartment that I really enjoy, and I'm looking to rent out the other room to someone. It's what I'd describe as a medium-size room, and you'd have your own bathroom. I'm renting it for $650/month, all bills paid, which includes electric, water, and internet. (No TV.)

I'm basically looking for someone with a good heart, respectful and conscientious. I get along as well with musicians and artists as I do with computer programmers and scientists. I myself am in the psychology field and I also love music. I've been in Austin for two years, and grew up in New York State.

I'm committed to staying in the apartment for at least a year and am looking for a roommate situation that is likely to work for something along the lines of that time frame. I'm offering this, though, as a month to month situation, so that both of us have flexibility. Other things: I plan to start doing some dog fostering at some point, maybe even cat fostering, so better if you're not allergic and can enjoy animals. Also, I'd ask that if you have overnight guests to limit that to two nights per week.
