Roommate needed in a large house in SW Detroit with four other creative people. We are looking for someone to share our mostly quiet but active house with.

All four of us are busy and spend most of our free time working on independent projects. Even though there are five of us who live here, we're far from a party house. That said we would like to find someone who enjoys the occasional potluck, evening drinking home brew on the porch, or Sunday afternoon helping work in the garden.

The house is about 100 years old located in the historic district of Hubbard Farms, which has an active neighborhood group.

There is a large front porch which we hang out on quite a bit during the warm months that looks out over a front yard which is now a vegetable garden.

Large shed ideal for bike parking.

Laundry facilities in the basement.

Can park car in fenced-off driveway or street.

The four of us consist of two musicians, an audio documentarian, and an urban farmer.

We live right down the street from several great places in Mexicantown such as Honeybee Market, Clark Park, Cafe con Leche, and Mexicantown Bakery.

Corktown is super close and Downtown is a couple miles.

We're not looking for a couple. Dogs not okay. Must have a checking account to pay your share of utilities. Minors and college students are better off living in the dorms. No druggies.

The rent is $230 per month, plus utilities which are around $20-$30 in the summer and $80-$100 in the winter. We have wi-fi but no TV. You will also need to pay a deposit of $240.
