The staff at the Glen were nearly always polite and friendly to me, but the issues that I did experience with them were so frustrating, I wouldn't want to live there again. Some of the problems:. 1 Competency: On at least two occasions, they lost my rent check and would call me to tell me rent was overdue. Both times the check had been misplaced or not credited to my account. On one occasion I watched the manager shuffle through the checks until she found it in her stack. 2 Poor construction: The space between the apartments are thin. A classmate who lived above us is thin, but whenever we heard her walking, she sounded like she was dropping weights or bowling balls. 3 Again, competency: During my last week there, the apartment above mine had a burst pipe at 5 in the morning. I woke up almost an hour later to a downpour in my living room, dining room, and kitchen. Maintenance and a local police officer came to help around 7 a.m. The office didn't pick up or return my voicemail at 8 a.m., so I called again at 9 a.m. She wasn't aware of what happened (even after an hour), and she deferred me to my renter's insurance. The real kicker is she called me back an hour after that in response to my voicemail, but she hadn't even listened because she didn't even know why she was calling me. They came by to take pictures and kept singing the renter's insurance song. I lost time and money, because they didn't maintain their water heater pipes. But of course they didn't want to admit fault and didn't show any sign of being sorry. The Glen didn't offer to pay for our A/C even after cranking it in the 60s and blowing industrial fans on for a week to prevent mold. 4 Poor maintenance: The guy who came to clean up the water told me that a few weeks before my apartment flooded, an apartment in the adjacent building also flooded from a burst pipe. The water that we collected from the leaks at the apartment was yellow like rust. The pipes must be getting old, but they are not be checking them like they should. Overall, I can handle them making clerical errors like not marking my rent check, because that can always be caught and corrected. But I couldn't forgive how poorly they handled an emergency like the burst water pipe that flooded my apartment. Bottom line, they don't care and are unwilling to work with you, even when it's their fault. All they ever cared about was trying to restore an apartment that clearly was beyond full repair. Good luck to the people that move into that place.

Extremely thin walls and a slight ant/bug problem. Not worth the money
