As a two-year resident of Crowne, I have enjoyed my time here. They have great office workers, great handymen, great apartments, and great living facilities. My only qualm is the constantly increasing rent. If rent were more stable year-to-year, I would give Crowne five stars. Overall, a great experience here in Southside.

Living in Crowne on 10th has been a very nice experience for both my husband and I, since we moved to Birmingham, Alabama, last July. We moved to Birmingham because he started his Posgraduate studies at UAB. After searching and looking other apartments in the area, we decided to live in Crowne on 10th because of 3 main reasons: Safety, Closeness, and appearance. Safety, because we wanted a close place with a controlled access gate; closeness because we needed some place where Ricky could be at UAB in a few minutes, go by bycicle or walking, and for emergencies, he needed to be close; and the appearance becase we were looking for something nice and spacious, where we could live confortable and happy! In Crowne on 10th we have felt almost like home with all the team that works here. Every time we have some problem in the apartment and we ask for their help, there is always somebody willing to help instantly and with a smile, and we appreciate that very much, specialy because we know how busy they are all the time. We love to participate in the monthly activities they have about different topics, and we are always informed of them with the digital media they have: Twitter, Facebook, website, Instagram, among others. The parking lot is spacious and we can park almost infront of were our apartment is located. The only thing is I suggest they put garbage cans around the parking lot because people leave all the time, trash in there, and I know not having them is not an excuse but it will be cleaner if they have some. We enjoy and take advantage of all of the amenities that Crowne has, like the pool and the outdoor fireplace and grill area for summer, the gym, the computer center, and the private entrance to George Ward Park. Also I personally love that they are always taking care of the little gardens around the apartments, and the different kind of flowers and plants that make the place look nice, and neat. The other thing we loved and we didnt know how was going to be before we moved, was the noise we would be able to hear from the neighbors, but we havent had any problems with that since we live here, we barely hear anything. The one bedroom apartment is perfect for a couple. We, as newlyweds, are enjoying it so much because the size is perfect, small so you can clean it very fast, but also big enough to be apart when the fights come =) We could fit our King size bed and even fit some other big furniture in the room, the closets are big enough to fit all of our cloth, most importantly the shoes =), the fulll size washer and dryer are the best, the separated spaces like the living room, dining room and kitchen, and we love how the apartment is full of windows that allow natural lighting enter to it, that together with the light colors of the walls, makes it look homie and so cozy! I dont give the 5 stars just because I think the rent is getting expensive this year, but otherwise I love it in here.

Crowne on 10th consistently goes above and beyond your expectations for an apartment. It is perfectly located, because the apartment complex is right beside George Ward Park, tucked beside UAB, easy access to downtown - 5 points, Green Springs Highway, Homewood, Vulcan Trail, and so on. The staff has taken care of any maintanence need I might have. I have talked with others who have lived here and it is agreed that this complex has 'ruined' us for other ones. It is so nice. I highly recommend living here. I feel safe and comfortable.

I have been so happy with my experience living at Crowne on 10th. At Crowne there is a community feel that no other apartments have in Birmingham. The staff is always very helpful and are extremely friendly. The location is very convenient for anyone who works or goes to school in Southside. I am student and because of where I work, I almost don't even need a car. I have seen some complaints about the price on here, but in my experience it has been more than worth every penny. Max always goes above and beyond to help me with any maintenance issue I have, but because the property is so new I rarely have problems. I would never choose any other apartment in Birmingham and I plan on living here for a long time.

I have lived at Crowne since July 2013 and have been pleased with our choice. So convenient to UAB and have had no trouble with any neighbors or staff. All requests for minor maintenance have been promptly answered and addressed. The complex is well maintained and quiet. Not sure what else you need in an apartment but for me it has been great. Great location to UAB, professional and responsive staff, quiet, and safe.
