They are raising their rates every year secondary to the 'reinvestment' they're putting in. Really what that entails for the tenant is a gate they have to now pass through. Two years ago the rate was around $500/month and now it's $715, yet the rooms are exactly the same. The management is pretty awful as well. Hope that you never have something break because you will have to keep after them for up to two months (personal experience) and speak with the owner in order to get it taken care of. The office will lie to you without a second thought and promise you things will be taken care of within a time period and when it doesn't, nobody is accountable. I was there for a year only because of the good rates on rent, but now that is gone, so I left.

I give this place 0 stars!!!! Worst place to ever live at! the new management is freaking horrible especially the property manager Latasha Dia. She is very unprofessional, lazy, rude, irritating, piss poor and everything else! I had a carbon monoxide leak in my home while I was 7 months pregnant. they did NOTHING. I could have died. the fire department came, which I had to call myself, and told me to evacuate my home. I called the leasing office and the did nothing. Unprofessional ass Latasha said she would meet at 9:30 and her ass stood me up. the next day, they told me they called DTE. I cancelled my plans and sat home waiting only to find out they never called DTE. I finally get a hold of DTE and they marked my furnace DANGEROUS. A month went by and they still did NOTHING. I wa gonna take them to court but it was too much stress and I was high risk pregnancy. I just moved out and they sent me a letter with my balance, I have been calling for almost a month now to make payment arrangements so it dont go to my collection. BUT UNPROFESSIONAL LATASHA DIA never returns my calls. I've left, messages and voicemails. I finally get a hold of her and she says she in a meeting and that she cant call me back until next week because she too busy . wtf? I can't deal!!! PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!

TL;DR (too long; didn't read): The rent is cheap (I'm in a 1BR, 1yr lease at $585/mo), but you get what you pay for. Go somewhere else, for the love of everything holy! Detailed Review: It took maintenance 2 months (October through December 2013) to fix an issue with my furnace thermostat. All that was necessary was a new relay, why didn't they just go buy one at Home Depot or something? Looking back, I should have fixed it myself. I got the feeling they either didn't care about the issue, or they didn't bother hiring competent employees. Either way it's bad. Communication from the front office to existing residents is extremely poor and unprofessional. Two examples: First: they failed to inform me that I had received a piece of mail, which was delivered to their office because it wouldn't fit in my mailbox. I didn't get it until a FULL YEAR after it was delivered to them, and even then it was only by pure accident. A note on my door was too hard to do, was it? Unacceptable. (They are pretty good at putting notes on your door when you're late on rent by a single day, just saying!) Second: you may have read other reviews referencing "renovations." These are definitely necessary, and some are currently under way. One of these enhancements was to replace all the doors on every building. Cool, right? Well, unfortunately they did this without any notice whatsoever, and I came home around midnight that day to new locks and was locked out of my home. Luckily, the manager had realized the mistake and was waiting in the office for that purpose. I got a key and that was all resolved. But come on, how about a mass email, or a note on the door a week before the change happened? Or better yet, issue the new keys FIRST, then change the doors? Seriously bad. Safety is a concern. Just drive around the property at night. There is lighting, but it's dim, and the bare minimum. I wouldn't want to be walking around there alone at night. If you have a car with decent wheels, get locking lugs. My wheels were stolen from the parking lot a few weeks ago. There used to be a patrol car that would roam the property and the one next to it, but I haven't seen it in several months. The apartment unit itself is OK. The hallway in my building smells like marijuana, but I've got no idea whether that's a common issue throughout the property. Sometimes the smell bleeds into my entrance area, but it's not unbearable. They put in new cabinets and carpet before I moved in, which was nice (although that was under the old management, which was MUCH better). The windows are pretty poor quality and mine have severe condensation between the two panes (you can see the same thing in other buildings, too). They are very draughty as well, so it's a good thing gas heat is included in the rent. Gas stove top, which is awesome, and pretty rare in an apartment from what I understand. Water is included in rent (at least for my lease) which is also nice. I cannot speak to the clubhouse/pool area as I've never used them. They are currently renovating that building and I'm not sure what changes are being made, but I was told by an employee that the racquetball court was being removed in favor of a larger office for the manager. I also know that the "24/7 fitness center" is a myth. There used to be a card reader on the door but it's gone, and I never received an access card for it anyways. The "Gated Entry" hasn't worked for the past 3-4 years, even under the old management. Like I said at the beginning: move along, this is probably not the place for you!

You don't want to move here! The new management is awful. They constantly make mistakes re: billing. They've been 'renovating' for over a year now. Vomit was left inside the carpeted stairwell for over a day. When they finally cleaned it up, they couldn't be bothered to clean the vomit off of the floor. Seriously, you don't want to live here.

I have lived in many apartments over the years and this is by far the worst run organization. Constantly having issues with the office staff regarding work orders. Be aware that if you do sign a lease they required a 45 days notice unlike other apartments. The maintenace staff is inexperianced, the emergency number given is in CT and argued with me on the phone. The plumbing for the buildings is inadequete. Our bathroom sink backed up on more then one occasion. The basement or as they call it 1st floor apartments flooded numerous times. There is absolutely no reason to live in this complex. Just keep driving.
